Excellent and definitely worth it!
I had pretty good skin to start with but there were some things I wanted to improve. Not only did this product improve the items I wanted to address but it also had some other benefits.***The texture of the skin in my tear troughs under my eyes was crepe like and would make the concealer look "cakey". The skin texture has been dramatically improved. The surprise is that my under eye circles almost invisible now. I don't even need to put on concealer anymore.***When I smile I would get a bunch of wrinkles under my left eye. There was one deep wrinkle and the other finer wrinkles. Those fine wrinkles are gone and the deep wrinkle is much less noticeable.***I had orange peel texture on my lower cheeks and around my mouth. Much of this is now gone. VERY pleased
I started having problems with adult onset acne at about age 25 - am now 40. Have tried everything - oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, retin-a, etc. etc. Despite trying numerous dermatologists, I never got what I considered good results - just a three minute visit and a couple of scripts. Decided to try this - at the price, nothing to lose. Man am I pleased. For the first time, acne is resolved (I have used the peel once a week for about six weeks). My scarring is improved and my skin tone is becoming much more even. Even improving my melasma. I would highly recommend this product. Word of caution. Definatly works!!
At first i was skeptical of this acid peel, but changed my mind soon after.I took before photos to see the change the peel would have on my face, and its only been about 4 weeks, but i will take pics soon of the after results after 6 weeks.Im 20, male, white, with slightly oily skin, and acne that sometimes turns horrible on me and makes cysts only on cheeks though. One cyst next to my eye and eyebrow left a bad scar.This stuff does tingle a bit, but very bearable. Used first for 2 mins, and had no effect, upped it to 4, same result. Used the full 8 mins the next day, started to see improvements. I modified the instructions a bit because my skin is used to exfoliations by 10% benzoil peroxide which only made pimples smaller and face a bit dry.I used every other day for the full 8 mins every time. But i suggest follow their instructions first before adjusting it. No down time here, and no redness like some people mentioned, and i dont apply...

Yes - it works
I purchased this after reading about it in a women's magazine as a treatment for rosacea. Not only have I recently developed rosacea, but I also had the crazy skin that so many people seem to complain about when they hit menopause. My previously calm and clear skin had morphed into dry patches, oily patches and an occasional viscious outbreak of acne. I never knew what was going to be looking back at me from the mirror. Well - I can honestly say that this oil has helped things get back to normal. I wash my face with a gentle bar soap at night and use 2 drops on each cheek and one drop on my forehead. Within days, the redness had calmed down and some of the bumps on my cheeks had gone down. I'm happy about those things, but the main reason I am giving this such a good rating is that the overall tone and feeling of my skin is back to where it was before - and it happened quickly! I use this as I described above at night and then I use only one drop in each spot in the morning...

I love this stuff!
I am post menopausal and have been plagued with acne breakouts and large pores my whole life. So, believe me when I tell you I would never put oil on my face. I read about Sea Buckthorn oil I decided to give it a try. I am amazed!! I have only used it for about 4 days but already my skin looks good enough to go out without makeup - something I never usually do. My skin looks and feels smoother, my pores are smaller and any pimples I had healed and disappeared. A little goes a long way and absorbs quickly. I use it after I wash on my face and neck in the morning and at night before I go to bed. I have also noticed my crows feet are less noticeable already. I hope with continued use it will also help some of my other little wrinkles as well. I would definitely recommend this product(and already have.)

Works for my rosacea
This oil has been a miracle for my Rosacea. I apply a thin layer on my face before bedtime and also under my makeup every day. I no longer have any rash or bumps on my face. My face is much less red than it was also. Don't confuse this seed oil with the sea buckthorn berry oil. The sea buckthorn SEED oil is the one that works on the Rosacea.

This product is my Holy Grail
My skin and I haven't been on speaking terms for years. Horrible, brutal, stubborn, disfiguring cystic acne, so viciously tenacious that I had to go through...yes, count 'em...not one, but TWO rounds of Accutane to rid my self of it, and I STILL get a nice cyst on my back or chest every once in a while. I had pockmarks on top of pockmarks...forehead, cheeks, temples, chin, bridge of my nose even. I hate my skin, I really do. I've gone through 2 deep dermabrasions (through a plastic surgeon, not the micro kind), plus about 30 DEEP chemical peels. My scarring improved a lot.But professional options get expensive, and taking weeks at a time off while my skin healed wasn't feasible. So I tried other methods to get rid of the rest of the scarring.Over-the-counter products like Mederma didn't help. I always tend to stay away from chemical peels because of the horror stories I hear and because I have fair, oily, acne prone skin.I purchased the 35% peel just to try it; to see if I'm missing anything. I'm sorry I didn't have the guts to try it sooner. :o)It is absolutely fantastic. I had a couple of breakouts I could not, for the life of me, get rid of. I put this on with a cotton ball, and I did wait the full 4 minutes; it tingled, but did not burn in any way. I washed it off and thought "okay, no miracles here". My face did feel smoother but that's about it.The next two days I noticed quite the improvement. My chin cleared up and my face was, again, smoother, and more even and most importantly, no breakouts. I did not need to even put on powder (which I did not live without).You do have to use a moisturizer after the peel. Great product. It is your first chemical peel with training wheels
I have been using this product for a month to treat hyperpigmentation from pregnancy. I think the best way to apply this product is with a fan brush, with that being said I purchased my brush from a local craft store for $3 & it worked great. This product is a gel, but not in a thick hair gel sort of way, this product has the consistency of pancake syrup. If you apply this product & find it running into your eyes or down your face you are applying way too much product, all I needed was about a nickel sized amount of this gel to cover my whole face. I use the product every 5 to 7 days, and even though they send a small bottle that is enough for many applications.It is not advised that you exfoliate your skin prior to using this product. I wash my face with a gentle cleanser & then wait an hour before I apply the product. For me, this product works. I've used it for several years along with the . I also try new products that come on the market, thinking that something else better must be discovered by now, but I always come back to this.I suffer from cystic acne. When I was in my teens and 20s, I paid fortunes to various dermatologists. Luckily, it hasn't been really bad since my 30s, but it does appear now and again even though I'm teetering on 50. I hate to see a recommendation of 5 star because I think they are always written by company. But this is written by a RABID consumer of the product. Here is my bullet list and I understand peoples' frustration.* If you use product as directed (twice a day) for 3 weeks it works beautifully* It is not a great moisturizer so you must supplement* You only need 2 pumps (this is sufficient for decreasing redness)* The bottle lasts a long time* It is not necessarily a hot flash drug* It IS expensive but if you can afford it DO IT and you have to use it to work

Great product - well worth the money!
I was diagnosed with perioral dermatitis, which is a form of rosacea. My doctor told me it would take at least a month to begin looking better after the use of heavy anti-biotics. After using this cream for 3 days the redness on my face decreased by about 75%. I would highly recommend this cream to anyone who suffers for rosacea or anyone with uneven skin.

Light and calming
I have red hair and super fair and sensitive skin. My skin is often red and I break out easily. This lotion is nice and light and is calming to my skin. It doesn't cause me to break out. I went through at least 7 other lotions before finding this one. It works and is worth the price.

Very impressed!
I am new to chemical peels, and I first want to say that is product is great and certainly worth the price. If you know exactly what you are doing, you can benefit in several ways from this product. After my second peel with the product, I noticed my skin was firmer, smoother, more even colored, and it has **significantly reduced the acne on my face.**This product is very strong, so be careful. I wipe my skin with alcohol to srip away all oils, wait 2-3 minutes, and thinly apply the Glycolic acid to first face and whatever is left on the cotton pad to my neck. I started out at 3 minutes, and have increased the time 20 seconds with each consecutive peel. Be aware that the product will cause medium discomfort, but that only means it's working! I apply a solution of baking soda and water to my face once the time is up. This will cause increased discomfort for about another 30 seconds, but once the acid is neutralized with the base, all the pain from the peel stops...

WONDERFUL product, not for the beginner!
After having spent $150 a pop for glycolic peels at a doctor's office, I decided to try this out at home. Two weeks prior to my office peels, the aesthetician instructed me to use a glycolic face wash and use glycolic cream (Jan Marini brand, the best!) for two weeks prior in order to get my skin prepped and used to the lower level of glycolic acid. I use Jan Marini products religiously (the face wash has 12% glycolic acid), so I felt I was good and ready to give this a whirl at home. I left it on for only 3 minutes, and when I splashed my face off with the sinkful of water & baking soda (FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!!), I could feel that this was a deeper peel than I had received at the doctors'. I put on some moisturizer and still felt a little 'sunburnt'. The next day, I could see that my skin looked better, but was tight and dry. Amazing skin but traumatic process!
This product improved the appearance of my skin by reducing acne scars and hyperpigmentation after just one use but my gosh is this stuff strong! I have been using another brand's 25% strength peel for a year and yet this brand's 40% was incredibly intense in comparison! My entire face peeled for five days post peel and immediately after using the peel I experienced much more than " slight redness". My skin had the texture of an aligator and was extremely red and felt as if it was burning off. So, be prepared for that if you use this product. I am planning to use it again as the results were so great but am a bit frightened to due to the extreme peeling. Overall, I recommend it but with a word of caution as this peel can be traumatizing if you expect " slight redness" and end up with a red alligator face!
