I found out about this tool at a salon when I went for a facial cleaning and the skin care technician used it on me; at first I didn't see what it was, but she kept on saying that "a lot" was coming out. It hurt a little, but it didn't leave any red marks. So at the end of the treatment I asked if I could see the tool, I was too curious; then I went home and ordered one. It's great! Lots & lots of stuff comes out! But you SHOULDN'T use it if your skin hasn't been washed and pores opened. It's best to do it right after a good shower (I usually wash my face in the shower). Does it hurt? Of course it hurts a little, but it also hurt at the salon, and we don't complaint when a professional is doing it. IF your skin has been soaked enough with warm water you shouldn't have to press so hard for stuff to come out; you should run it through the target area, not hold it down on one spot (that's what causes the marks). **Note: works best on nose, chin, and forehead; not good on your cheekbones. great product
I have had trouble with acne for the past 6 or 7 years now. I'm now 28 and have literally tried everything. This is the only product that has worked. I still get the odd spot once in a while but after dabbing a little of this product on the trouble spots, they begin to disappear immediately. Within one week I had perfectly clear skin. Unfortunately, this product does tend to dry out the skin so I only use it during the week and give my skin a break on the weekends. Excellent product!

I had pretty good skin to start with but there were some things I wanted to improve. Not only did this product improve the items I wanted to address but it also had some other benefits.***The texture of the skin in my tear troughs under my eyes was crepe like and would make the concealer look "cakey". The skin texture has been dramatically improved. The surprise is that my under eye circles almost invisible now. I don't even need to put on concealer anymore.***When I smile I would get a bunch of wrinkles under my left eye. There was one deep wrinkle and the other finer wrinkles. Those fine wrinkles are gone and the deep wrinkle is much less noticeable.***I had orange peel texture on my lower cheeks and around my mouth. Much of this is now gone. The deep texture on my left lower cheek is still there, but significantly improved.***The skin above my lips looks awesome. My hubby even said "the skin around your mouth looks great"... I started having problems with adult onset acne at about age 25 - am now 40. Have tried everything - oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, retin-a, etc. etc. Despite trying numerous dermatologists, I never got what I considered good results - just a three minute visit and a couple of scripts. Decided to try this - at the price, nothing to lose. Man am I pleased. For the first time, acne is resolved (I have used the peel once a week for about six weeks). My scarring is improved and my skin tone is becoming much more even. Even improving my melasma. I would highly recommend this product. Word of caution. At first i was skeptical of this acid peel, but changed my mind soon after.I took before photos to see the change the peel would have on my face, and its only been about 4 weeks, but i will take pics soon of the after results after 6 weeks.Im 20, male, white, with slightly oily skin, and acne that sometimes turns horrible on me and makes cysts only on cheeks though. One cyst next to my eye and eyebrow left a bad scar.This stuff does tingle a bit, but very bearable. Used first for 2 mins, and had no effect, upped it to 4, same result. Used the full 8 mins the next day, started to see improvements. I modified the instructions a bit because my skin is used to exfoliations by 10% benzoil peroxide which only made pimples smaller and face a bit dry.I used every other day for the full 8 mins every time. But i suggest follow their instructions first before adjusting it. No down time here, and no redness like some people mentioned, and i dont apply... Top to learn more

Worth the wait!!
I have been using Proavtive for years and it was starting to become very ineffective at keeping my skin clear. It never totally got rid of the breakouts but it controlled them better and they were not as severe.For the last year I was getting little red bumps all over my face and Proactive was NOT helping with them so I decided to try something else! I saw Olay Professional Pro-X Clear Acne Protocol reviewed in In-Style Magazine and they had mentioned it had helped the author with some of the similar problems I had been experiencing so I decided to try it.Pricing is comparable to Proactive so that is not an issue. After trying Pro-X Clear for two weeks I was frustrated because I felt I had more breakouts then before...I was freaking out! But then I remembered the review from the magazine that said you HAVE to give this product at least four weeks!
