Great for long-term acne management
I use this product a bit differently than the average user in that I use it as an acne preventative. Before discovering this product by chance six months ago, my skin was in terrible shape. My face is very sensitive to most chemicals, to the point that I can't wear most commercial makeup. Acne medications seemed to make my skin worse as opposed to better. Benzoyl peroxide caused my face to peel constantly and salicylic acid seemed to make my face ruddy. I thought I was doomed to have acne forever because I have PCOS which, among other things, can cause oily skin and cystic acne. Everything turned around after I began using Adult Acnomel. This product features resorcinol (a medication used in the treatment of cystic acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, and rosacea) and sulfur (a natural antibacterial) as opposed to the harsher aforementioned agents. Within a month my breakouts had diminished significantly. Six months later, I can confidently say that my skin lacks active infections...

Acnomel is the best
I have been using Acnomel Adult Acne Medication for the past 50 years on the occasions when I have a slight skin breakout. It was first recommended to me by a local pharmacist when I was in my teens. I find this product to be better than any other OTC medications that I have tried.

Good results so far after a week & half
I'm 22 and still get acne and have tried everything there was to cure it since it started in my early teens. I've tried ProActiv, Duac, silicic acid based cleansing products, Ortho tri-cyclen, Trinessa, etc.. I had tried Accutane when I was a teenager which was supposed to be the closest thing to a cure. My acne completely disappeared for 2 years after using Accutane but came back. I was back to square one, only as an adult I didn't think I'd still get acne. After, I tried multiple cleansing products and Duac till I became an adult and it worked for a while, but then I became immune to the ingredients in Duac... and nothing seemed to work again. And now recently, my aunt, who's a beautician in NY, recommended Dermalogica for adult acne. After using it for a week, I already saw my face start to clear up. After about a week and a half now, when I usually would see acne again, my face is pretty much still clear (which is surprising) but I see one or two new pimples. I hope this lasts...

Be patient!!!
Believe me, I'm as impatient as the next person, but I took my facialist's advice and stuck with these products. I started using this kit at the end of Aug, and it's now coming up to the end of Oct. The first month was pretty terrible, I seemed to break out more than ever, my pores seemed especially clogged...but slowly my skin adapted to the regimen, and those clogged pores sometimes turned to pimples, but then those healed. Essentially, I'm not at a point now where I have less clogged pores than I've had in years and years, and the breakout are becoming few and far between. These are the best products I've ever used on my skin, and I've used sooo many different brands of products. Just be patient! And I mean, 2, 3, 4 months patient. My facialist said it sometimes takes people with acne 6 months to see the positive effects from these products. But I feel strongly about my results, and I want to make others who have struggled like I, give these products the time to have these...

Great Product!!! Worth It!
I was having a terrible time with my skin this past summer...moved to a humid, sticky, hot new place and my skin, which is already normally oily, was not reacting well at all. These products, recommended by my fabulous, wizard of an aesthetician, helped turn my skin around better than any product that I've ever used before...and I've used a lot! definitely pricey, but for once, pricey beauty/skincare products that aren't all hype.More specifics: The cleanser is great; the oil-control lotion actually controls oil and keeps high shine at bay for ~4 hours; the overnightclearing gel gives me visible results (1-2 days) whenever I have a sporadic flare up; not really sure how well the mask works, though my skin generally looks better when I keep it in the routine (I also mix it with another mask, with more firming properties); the exfoliator is my least favorite product (pharmagel has a much better one that I alternate with this one). Works very well for me, *personally*
First off, I'm in my early 20's and have combination type skin with occasional, mild to moderate acne. I used nearly two whole ProActiv systems before switching to a Neutrogena kit and have found that this clears up my skin much better and faster. I find it very convenient that the Day Lotion includes SPF 15, whereas the ProActiv Repairing Lotion doesn't, even though ProActiv advises you to use sunscreen with their system when going outside. That would probably prompt you to buy their oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15 as well ($$ smart business move $$), thus adding another step to your skin-care regimen. I would recommend anyone with my acne/skin type who is thinking about subscribing to ProActiv to try Neutrogena first.Anyway, the Neutrogena kit lasts around 5 months for me. I still get an occasional zit or two, but with less frequency than I did in the past. I use a Neutrogena Rapid Clear spot gel for that with success.Word of advice: It might be best...

Finally, help for adult acne!!
I am in my early 30's and have been experiencing severe and embarassing break-outs along my jaw line, chin and cheeks for the past couple of years. I have tried Murad, Proactiv, AcneFree and many other systems without success.A month ago I picked up the Neutrogena system when I saw it on sale. Within five days days my skin started to clear. Now, I have a completely clear complexion and have not had a single break-out since starting the system. I have had no problems with drying and my skin is much softer than before. Finally, a product that works and comes at a decent price!

Works great for me
First of all, I understand that not every product will work for every individual. But, this one is far exceeding my expectations. I did some research online before I bought this. What I found was that what seemed to work the best for people was a combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. I looked at the wide array of acne treatments I had at home and they were ALL salicylic acid, but no benzoyl peroxide. I thought it was worth a shot.I'm 35 and acne runs in my family. My mom still has it. I was starting to develop very deep, painful acne that would heal in one place and then show up in another place. Nothing I was doing was getting rid of it. I found this Neutrogena system and I noticed some improvement the very next day. I'm a little over a week into it now and I can't believe the improvement! Most effective acne solution!!!
I have suffered from adult acne since I was 21 and tried so many products, including prescriptions ones, that I have lost track. The only reason I bought this was because it was on sale at Target for 16.99 and I thought what the heck. My expectations were beyond low. To my surprise, by the next day, my blemishes have either cleared or the inflammations went way down. After a week, my skin was almost flawless. Needless to say, when I went on my trip to Asia, I bought it with me. I shared it with two of my cousins who were both suffering from severe adult acne. Two days later, both of them came back to me with amazing results. I would recommend this to anybody. I would however suggest that additional moisturizer is needed afterwards.

Works so fast!
I have been using this product for two weeks now, and I am amazed already at the improvement in my skin. I am 25, and only this year have started having terrible breakouts with whiteheads, blackheads, and milia centered mostly on my cheeks right below my cheekbones. The hyperpigmentation (red marks that stay long after a blemish is gone) has been terrible! After just two weeks with this product already I am getting far less red, inflamed breakouts, and the hyperpigmentation from the previous blemishes has faded dramatically! My whole face feels much smooother and is starting to look even-toned again. The smell is kind of funky, and I find the moisturizer to be a bit greasy for my tastes, but as you put it on at night, these are not deal-breakers, you just go to sleep and forget about it, wash it off in the morning. Bottom line is, after all the peels and "intensive" products I've tried, this one works the absolute best, giving me fast, dramatic results.

Amazing
I am in my mid twenties and have had acne for years. Have used a million things in the hopes of clearing up my face, including Proactive and prescription drugs, with little to no results. My Mom bought this for me on a whim. I tried it with absolutely no expectations whatsoever, thinking it was going to be like all the rest, lots of hype and no results. I did the peel at night, the next morning I woke up and I noticed some of the redness was gone, and the acne was significantly minimized. I was completely floored, after putting on the peel three times in one week I saw results I have never even seen with prescriptions.
