BEST SKINCARE LINE I've tried--and at an unbeatable price
Quickly approaching (a still, sadly, rather vain) age 40, I have personally spent a small fortune over the years trying to slow the aging process and reverse the effects of too many days spent gardening without sunscreen. I cannot even begin to list all the products I've somewhat foolishly gambled on to get my skin looking better. This product--and several other products offered through the company NEOTERIC (all under the Alpha Hydrox brand)--are exactly the answer I've been looking for. great exfoliator
I have used this product for years and was so disappointed when it seemed most of my local store stopped selling it. I am 38 and prone to acne, mostly on a monthly basis. I tend to be intermittantly lazy in applying skin care products, but what I always loved about this one is that if my skin started looking dull or breakouts were starting, by applying this as an overnight treatment it really seemed to nip it in the bud. It goes on very thin and light and by the next day my skin would be much fresher and clearer. Also, the AHA % is very high for a product in this price range and for 6 oz you just can't beat it.

I have used this for 15+ years!
I have used this moisturizer every morning for many many years. It is cost effective when most other product lines are very expensive. The results are fantastic. I have women ask me all the time how I keep my face wrinkle free. I share this product info. w/ everyone. It's awesome. It's mild. It has no strong perfume smell. I wear it with or without makeup and I never leave it behind on travel or vacations. If you want to give your face or any part of your body a nice rich moisture treatment daily...use this. It's the best!

This is what I have been looking for!
This is an amazing moisturizer. It's light, sinks right into the skin, and leaves a nice glow. It doesn't have the typical heaviness, greasiness or odor that is usually associated with moisturizers that include SPF.One caveat, the container is small. I use this product only during the day (at night I use AHA's Night Replenishing Crème), and I go through a container about once every month and a half or so. The price is so reasonable though, I usually buy two at a time.As a bonus - I can't say enough about how this line has helped clear up my acne. I've tried ProActiv, Avon's Clearskin, and Murad's Acne Complex, they all helped - marginally. AHA eliminated my acne. After ten years, I finally found the product line that keeps my skin clear!

Nice moisturizer/sunscreen.
Slides very nicely over the Alpha Hydrox gel. Moisturizes but doesn't make my skin greasy- not matte, but dewy. No break-outs with this plus there's SPF!

This really is the BEST body cream in the world
I have dry problematic skin and this body lotion makes it all go away. It is AMAZING!! I have tried just about every body lotion on the market and this is it. The scent is wonderful and I get compliments from random people about how good I smell and I don't wear perfume. I have also tried the other C. Booth body butters and creams and they don't improve my skin the way this one does. It's amazing stuff. Definitely worth every penny you spend.

Simplity The Best
I love this lotion!I am on my fourth bottle. I haven't triedthe other scents but the lemon sugar isamazing. It leaves skin soft and supple andthat feeling lasts. I will repurchase andprobably stock up next time, it's gettingharder to find this lotion where I live...Please don't ever stop making it.

Finally, A Product That Works!!!
I have tried everything over the years including Clinique and Proactive. I was on low-dose antibiotics for years throughout my 20's. I am now in my 40's and still had acne until i tried this product. It is NOT because of my diet or that i need "cleansing" that i have had problems with acne, it is because my skin will not exfoliate at all on it's own. This product worked for me like nothing else!If i do have a dreaded breakout due to hormones, it clears up super fast (a couple days), and i no longer have those horrible, painful cysts that are under my skin for a month before erupting. Heaven Sent
I don't usually write reviews, but this product is wonderful!!!! I've been using it for 8 months and i still love it. It's best to use this product every night or every other night because it may cause slight dryness overtime. I like to use this product followed by 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and aloe vera. That combination clears skin and evens skin tone and texture. I will be forever in debt with this product.

Solved my flakey skin prob. Thumbs UP!
I've always had annoyingly problematic skin. This is a wonderful product - I don't know that it is an acne cure because I've never used it alone (always been using some kind of prescribed acne treatment) but it most definitely does wonders for the actual texture and feel of my skin...it essentially makes my face FRESHER. Almost after the first application I woke up with much softer skin. It gently gets rid of the dead top layer and reveals the softer newer skin underneath. The first time I tried it it was a little tingly but that goes away completely with regular use.This stuff has practically solved my dry skin problem (periodically severely dry, peeling and flaky). I used to moisturize and moisturize and the flakes just would come right back. This got rid of it almost immediately! I put it on every night and even though I'm normally super dry, I find I don't need to use lotion after using this because it sort of keeps the moisture in after I wash your face and put it on...

One Word: AMAZING!
I have used Alpha Hydrox AHA Cream for many years and I'm really not even that old. I first got my hands on my mom's when I was about 10 and managed to burn the h*** out of my eyes. :) But shortly after that I would occasionally use it and after just a single use the results were visible: clear, smooth, porcelain skin. It helped clear all my acne scars and is keeping wrinkles at bay. I usually use this product for about a month at a time and then I begin to use it again when my skin appears to need it. If you are someone who will not go out without makeup, this can really help you feel more comfortable in your own skin. A thin layer of this and a little under eye concealer could be all you need and what a great feeling that is.I used to use a store brand AHA cream but this product is worth the few dollars extra. The store brand I tried just didn't absorb as well as this product which is very important so that it does not get into your eyes while you sleep...

better buy than the 12% version
I've used this as well as Alpha-Hydrox's more expensive 12% 'souffle' and find they are both equally effective in suppressing fine wrinkles. The difference is the 10% version costs less and contains 2 oz, while the 12% version is only 1.6 oz and costs more. I guess you're paying for the word 'souffle' -- in actual look and texture, there is no difference between the two. I used the 10% for nearly 10 years, then switched to the 12% about a year ago. The more expensive 12% version worked no better than the less expensive 10% version. I'm going back to the 10% stuff.I'm only giving it 4 stars because I still think the cheaper version is more expensive than it needs to be. However until someone comes along with a less expensive product, it's still the best AHA buy around.
