Miracle soap for eczema and psoriasis sufferers!
I cannot express my gratitude for this soap. I've lived with eczema and psoriasis for the last 10 years. After trying Dial Gold antibacterial soap, I avoided antibacterial soaps altogether because I didn't like the way it dried out my skin. I was skeptical of Cetaphil, but decided to give it a try based on all the glowing reviews. It's been 3 months since I started using this soap and my skin has cleared up considerably. I haven't gone this long with clear skin for years. I don't know what is in this soap, but I will say it's close to a miracle for those of us with skin problems. I used to be exclusive to Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash (fragrance free), but I've now switched entirely to Cetaphil. This soap does not dry out your skin like other antibacterial soaps. In fact, it is so gentle that you can't even tell it's antibacterial. It's more pricey, but definitely worth it. I just hope they never discontinue manufacturing this wonderful product.

Great Soap
I love this soap and the nature and benefits of tea tree. Only complaint, it does not last long, which is a problem at this price. One can look up the benefits of Tea Tree, but with the shampoo, I no longer have any problem with dandruff, nor other minor irritations.

Great Soap
This has tea tree in it whihc helps you keep the bugs away as well as cleans you. I live in a very buggy area and do not get bit anymore since I stopped using all those other scented soaps - bugs do not like tea tree....Definitely a keep this product.

Wonderful Product
I have had acne since I was a teenager, I am now 34 and up until a few months ago continued to struggle with it. On a whim I purchased the Basis "All Clear" Bar at a local grocery store for under $3.00. My face cleared up in about a week and I have not had one breakout since I have been using this product. I use the Basis Bar and moisturizer only, I do not apply anything else to my face and I am truly amazed. I don't know why more people do not know about this product, I have spent thousands of dollars at my dermatologist over the years along with trying every type of over the counter medicine you can think of. I had developed adult cystic acne, the kind on your neck and jaw line that are hard nodules and are painful. Better than the expensive stuff!
I've been using Basis Antibacterial since i first started college. My dermatologist recommended it to me when my sensitive skin began to break out. He also gave me a sample of the fancy kind he sold in his office. Well, I've been using this soap ever since (needless to say, the fancy stuff didn't get used up)... truly amazed
while on vacation i purchased this bar because it was affordable and to my amazement it cleared up my skin very quickly. i have very sensitive skin that is oily underneath and dry on top. this managed to clear up my skin without over-drying it as most acne treatments do. it cost me less than $3 and the results were wonderful. i've used way more expensive products like neutrogena, st. ives, mark, avon, etc and this has given me the best results! i've had acne since i was a teenager and though it has calmed down over the years, i'd have to say this is a great product for anyone with very sensitive skin with mild to moderate acne.

amazing, continuous results!!
my dermatologist suggested i try this product for my cystic acne. i had acne as a teenager, but it came back when i was 23. for the past year and a half i struggled trying to find a product that worked for me. i started seeing results within the first 2-3 weeks. ive been using this product for the past 8 months and i swear by it!! i also went back on birth control (ortho tricyclen) the combination has cleared my face completely. i use the antibacterial wash in the morning when i wake up and before bed. it doesn't dry my skin at all, my acne scars from my cystic acne are starting to fade immensely. i love my new skin thanks to neostrata!!!!

Seriously, I'm impressed.
This really works for me. I think skin is personal and what works for one person may not work for another... but I have to say that no one product has ever worked for me in a definite and noticeable way before this cleanser. For real. I feel so strongly about this that I'm writing what I think is my first review on Amazon ever.I've had "problem" skin since I was a teenager, I'm in my 30's now and suffering from adult acne. I have cystic acne at the jawline/cheeks (a recent development) and small whiteheads/clogged pores generally (since I was a teen). Excellent for sensitive/acne prone skin
I bought this cleanser a few weeks ago and am very pleased with the results. I have oily/acne prone skin that is very sensitive. Both Salislyic acid and Benzonperoxide are extremely irritating to my skin. Since I have started using this product my oily production has become normal and my break out hot spots have cleared up. I have also noticed imporved skin texture and tone.

Great for rosasea
Although it does smell a little bit, it is "sulfur" soap! The smell goes away when you rinse it off your face, so what's the difference!? It made an incredible difference when I started using this soap for my rosacea! I had been using a prescription sulfur face wash and I ran out of it. I didn't have health insurance anymore at the time, so I figured I'd look into a sulfur soap instead of paying over $140 for this scrip face wash! So for $1.39, I tried this stuff, and my face is actually clearer and my skin softer than when using (or not using) the other stuff! (I am very fair and pale by the way.) I do not tolerate nasty smells well, and I can handle the smell of this soap just fine!

Amazing!
Amazing! I just started using this product six days ago and my face has completely cleared up. I was in the middle of a major breakout when it arrived and I was really hoping it would be as effective as many of the reviewers said it was. I too have been a victim of buying into everything out there- Dermalogica, Proactiv, Dr. Murad- and the list goes on. Not to mention the money I've spent going to dermatologists and aestheticians. I am incredibly impressed as this product has cleared up my face in less than a week! My face is smooth as a baby's bottom. Now I can focus on removing the dark spots and we'll be home free. I am so happy I stumbled across this product. The smell isn't bad at all and it doesn't linger. You will need to still use a good moisturizer though, as with any soap products. I hope this helps: )

No more summer problems
I had a bar of this soap for a long time wondering what I would do with it after I heard that sulfur powder used to be used on wounds. I figured if the world got kinda sketchy at least I'd have that to use if one couldn't get a doctor or antibiotic. Then I went to a tropical area where I seemed to pick up a yeast that wanted to live in the moist folds of my skin in the summer time. It is slick and makes my skin red and it STINKS. The only thing the doctor would say is that it is a yeast and that it is everywhere, and that I just need to keep dry. Well dry can be impossible with a high heat index and humidity. Powder works somewhat, but I wanted the stuff dead! I used the sulfur soap in the shower in the places most prone to the yeast. It cleared up immediately. I've got to find some more.
