Yep - Balch is right on target, again!
I couldn't agree more with the focus of Balch's book on Anti-Oxidants! We can no longer expect our food to contain enough of those wonderful supplements necessary for our bodies to sustain/prolong life in these stressful/toxic times. YES we need to eat well - cut out that fast food - to keep our everyday focus on being healthy, but unfortunately that isn't enough. If this book isn't enough to convince you (which I believe it is) access a site, PapaNature, and research further their documentation on anti-oxidants. They offer the same combinations as Balch recommends to his readership.

By now you've probably heard that antioxidants are good for you, but a growing number of researchers are beginning to believe that adequate or even more-than-adequate amounts are absolutely vital to our health and well-being. This book by James F. Balch, M.D., author of the bestselling Prescription for Nutritional Healing, describes a wide range of antioxidant substances in food and extracted into supplements that can help prevent or conquer illness and even slow the aging process itself. As Balch points out, when our bodies turn oxygen into energy the reaction creates damaging byproducts known as free radicals, which "eat away" at us almost as rust does metal. Antioxidants help keep free radicals from forming and eliminate those already in the body, putting the brakes on at least some of this long-term damage. But while many people are aware of the antioxidant value of vitamins such as C and E, there are also powerful free-radical-scavenging substances in a wide variety of products-- including fish oils, tree barks, herbs, wine, and tea, as well as colorful fruits and vegetables. Because antioxidants may be more effective in combination, Balch makes a good case for taking concentrated antioxidant supplements as well as eating a diverse diet. Love this stuff
I was using this oil for some time and SO love it! I tried both unscented and scented versions, but prefer scented for its very unique and absolutely gorgeous smell. It is 100% natural and I use it as my only body moisturizer. It makes my skin incredibly soft and glowy. I also made a great discovery when I started to use it as my eye makeup remover. This oil makes my eye lashes thicker and longer! They look much darker too!GREAT product. Highly recommend.

Good for hair
I have very unmanageable hair and, as I permed it periodically, my biggest problem was split ends. Camellia Oil came as a true savior. My hair is now in perfect shape, shiny and no breakage. Thanks for the nice product.

Antioxidant Face

Thank you for the choosing me to test and review the YBF’s Refresh and Concentrate Antioxidants trial kit ($55 in the TIA shop ). Just being a new member of Truth in Aging having joined late last fall I was extremely unfamiliar with a good number... The Antioxidant was easy to combine and went on smoothly and felt very light on my skin, absorbing very well with no trace of residue or oily feeling on my skin. When I began using the Concentrate Antioxidants I was a little leery about how my skin would react as far as breakouts were concerned. As my skin suffers from the occasional breakout, currently thanks to good old menopausal hormones, my moisturizer, Neostrata was recommend by my dermatologist and have been using that line of products for a number of years.

Knowing that Your Best Face has actively addressed users' concerns about affordability, but a desire to use the YBF skincare products, speaks volumes for their commitment to both their customers and their products. With one pump, I can get it to all parts of my face, but, because of its light texture, I need two pumps to include my neck. This is an excellent way of extending the product as well as ensuring it gets applied to the entire face and neck. The card that I received lists four (4) ingredients: ferulic acid, spin trap, Lipochroman-6, and vitamin E. Both :refresh and :antioxidants concentrate list "reverse osmosis water" as the first ingredient, which sounds fascinating. The YBF website lists the antioxidants, which include spin trap, Lipochroman-6 , L-carnosine , tetrahydrocurcuminoids, idebenone, and vitamin E, some nice heavy-hitters. The card that came with the product suggested blending it with other products or adding it to do-it-yourself recipes. Antioxidants Concentrate ( $55 in the TIA shop ): When applied directly, it feels very nice on the skin. I wanted to provide my review after I'd used the entire sample, but since Michelle has started this ball rolling , I think submitting my review now will afford some the option to try these products in the new year. Antioxidants Concentrate has a wonderful almond scent, very subtle, which is a nice pick-me-up in the morning. The website suggests using it as daily maintenance between uses of Correct, another good idea for reducing waste and stretching out the Correct cream. I am much less versed in ingredients than other TIA reviewers, so these may be proprietary ingredients as they are combinations of peptides under that name. Their very last ingredient is paraben du. I know there has been discussion about the use of parabens.

To prevent this eventuality, organic antioxidant face creams have been developed to stop aging from showing in the face and surrounding skin cells. To perform the best effects from these organic antioxidant face creams, skin care experts recommend that the person’s diet should also change to accommodate foods rich in antioxidants such as berries and apples. The face creams should be applied liberally and evenly on the covering of the face and neck, but these parts should be first cleaned with warm organic cleansers to railroad the absorption of the beneficial antioxidants. Because most of these organic antioxidant face creams are incorporated with vitamin E, not only are the skin free radicals removed, but the skin would also glow in health. These face creams are made from organic ingredients that contain millions of antioxidants to counteract the harmful effects brought along by the destructive processes of the reactive oxygen species. Vitamin Natural ingredients such as those from rose, honey, soya, coconut, and vegetable oils are blended together to produce these organic antioxidant face creams.
