The best cleanser for rosacea
I really cannot say enough good things about this foaming cleanser. You know how when you have rosacea and you just bend your head forward to splash water and your face turns red? With this cleanser that doesn't happen! I use it morning and night and have done so for about a year. It gets the makeup off and leaves nothing behind. Follow it up with the Ultra Calming moisturizers - the day one has SPF15 and the night one is great for my dryness. Rosacea is under control. Not gone altogether- that would take IPL treatmetns but there is no new redness or bumps and my facial itching is a think of the past. I've suffered with pretty bad rosacea for 10 years. I switched from Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser to the Aveeno after I read on WebMD that they felt it was the best facial cleanser for sensitive skin. I tend to have mostly dry, though I get greasy in the T-zone, and sensitive skin. It gets red, tight, and dry if I use harsh soaps.The Aveeno Active Naturals is a very mild and easy to use cleanser. The foaming action feels good and creates a nice lather. The best part is that it rinses off very easily and completely. Which is a boon for dry sensitive skin.The only qualms I have about this cleanser is that it doesn't seem to last as long as the Neutrogena and the price is a bit high.All in all... it's expensive, but worth it. Wonderful Stuff!
I don't have a baby, but I do have extremely sensitive skin that is prone to dryness whenever it gets irritated. In the winter it gets even worse and I end up scaly all over if I am not careful. I started using this wash on my face and body (using a bath pouf) this past winter. It doesn't lather up like crazy, but sufficiently. Besides, more lather means more drying, as a rule. It felt more like a creamy, luxurious face wash. Left no noticeable residue on my skin, but I did notice a sharp decrease in the tightness and dryness of my skin almost immediately after I started using it. I continue to use it on my face as my preferred face wash. It removes makeup effectively and my skin does not feel overly dry and tight afterward. I still need a very light amount of lotion but not much. The wash is fragrance-free, but it has a natural smell to it that reminds me of lightly toasted oats and perhaps a touch of freshly ground almonds. Just very light and natural, and does not leave...

I will die if they ever stop making this!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have written Aveeno praising them for creating such a fine product!I have numerous autoimmune conditions and am allergic to everything. My skin breaks out to most moisturizers (even ones that are for sensitive skin and perfume free.) BUT, not to this product. The "Ultra Calming" is the only line I have ever found that my skin can tolerate.While I am left with some acne scars on my face from years of using and trying the wrong products, I'd like to say BRAVO to Aveeno for making this one. I am having regular microdermabrasion treatments to help revive the skin that the other moisturizers ruined and left scarred. Aveeno, please notify me if this line is ever going to be discontinued so I can rent a warehouse and stock it full of this stuff to last the rest of my life. I cannot live without it! Definitely love this product!
This is the first tinted moisturizer I have ever tried. I am a fan of Aveeno and their products. I do have problematic and sensitive skin (I can't even use some facial sunscreens because they're so harsh on my skin). Personally, I use mineral makeup for cover up and really can't use liquid foundation. This product, however, gave me what I was looking for: cover, with sun protection, and doesn't initiate an allergic reaction. The other great things about this product is that the pump provides the right amount, it smells better than regular sunscreen, and the bottle is small enough to put in a carry on (I travel a lot and this meets the carry on specification).I read the other reviews and do agree that the moisturizer is thick. Also, it is more expensive than other drug store tinted moisturizers (however, I believe it's more beneficial). The other downside to it is that there are only two colors: fair to light and medium.All in all, I do recommend this... Top to learn more

Does what it claims
This isn't the kind of product I normally review, but I am so impressed with it that I decided to do it anyway. At first I wasn't quite sure if I liked it, but then I realized 1. I have to use less than I would if it was regular foundation, and 2. I have to "set" it with pressed powder or it leaves my face shiny. After those two discoveries, WOW! This will leave you with even-toned, healthy-looking skin without giving you "make-up face". And after using it for a few weeks, my skin is looking healthier all around, even once I wash it off at night. Fantastic product, highly recommended! Top to learn more

Too heavy
I ran out of my Loreal Age Perfect tinted moisturizer and couldn't find it at any local stores, so I decided to try this Aveeno as they have good products. However, they obviously don't know what "tinted moisturizer" means. The Loreal and Olay that I had tried were very moist, light and sheer. This is very heavy and opaque. As I couldn't afford to waste it, I have continued to use it. I have found if I use a moisturizer under it, it works better. It still wants to collect in my pores and creases and I have to use a sponge to blend it in. It is like very heavy makeup. I will use it up, but won't purchase it again. Top to learn more

Felt too Greasy
I have combination/oily skin, but this was very shiny and greasy on my face. I had to use a lot of powder to cover it up. I much prefer the SPF 15 version and will not use this one again unless I'm actually spending the day in the sun and looking for a sunscreen. Top to learn more

seems to help a little...could be better
This moisturizer really seems to deliver. Unless it's just my imagination, of course, but it seems my face has gone from red to pink. It would be great if it could completely calm down but using the Aveeno calming foaming cleanser and moisturizer does result in an improvement. Could be better, but I'll take it. I get much better results with the Aveeno products than I did with the way overpriced and completely worthless Clinique anti-redness products. Top to learn more
Very Good
I had really terrible acne-ridden skin, then I went on Accutane for 5 months and it got better but every now and then, I would get pimples and redness. My dermatologist advised that I look for moisturizers that are not for acne-prone skin because the ingredients could irritate my skin. So i tried this moisturizer and it definitely "calmed" down my skin's issues and took care of the redness and pimples. I was not too sure of using it as a night cream since it has spf, but I love it so much that I use it every night after washing my face. It gives my face a very calming feeling, and makes it feel soft. The only thing I can say that I'm not loving is that as an spf, it gives my skin a whitish look (I am black so I have a light-brown complexion) and makes the skin look shiny, but it is not at all oily. I wear it under make-up so that's not a big problem for me. Unless I come across another amazing Aveeno moisturizer, this will be my staple moisturizer. Top to learn more
