Great, mild cleanser for sensitive skin!
I like this cleanser because it's non-drying as many foaming cleansers tend to be...and I had to stop using multiple OTC cleansers after a few days for that reason. Even with my prone to dryness skin, I prefer the clean feeling that only comes from washing my face with water and not using cleansing milk and tonic combo, especially in the summer months with all the subblock that I put on.It didn't cause any irritation and it's economical too.I used to buy only department store brand, and now there is no need to do so. The aging zones of the face

Perfect for my skin
I grabbed this product from one of my local Club Warehouses and I wasn't sure what to expect. I've been looking for a cleanser, something that would be gentle on my skin, but also clean the gunk that builds up from working outdoors.Most products leave me with a rash or my skin doesn't feel clean after use. I do have sensitive oily skin and I'm prone to breakouts and even products designed for skin like mine leave me with rashes.All that said, this cleanser + scrub combo is amazing. (Plus it smells like granny smith apples!) My skin not only feels clean, but it looks clean afterward. It does give me a slight 'pulling' sensation to my skin, I would think that this would be the minimizing of my pores. I haven't had any trouble with it and my face has yet to break into a rash.This product is definitely a keeper.Edit: December 8After using this product for a month, I haven't seen any significant progress in minimizing my pores...

Finally I found what I was looking for
I have sensitive acne prone skin, so it is not easy to find a product to suit my skin. I have used Olay's dual-Action Cleanser + Toner in the past which I loved (used it for 4 years) but unfortunately it was discontinued. I tried couple of product after but none worked for me. Then I found Olay pore minimizing scrub - love it. My skin feels very fresh and clean after using this product.

Very good cleansner
My wife uses this product and the price had here on Amazon is great using Subscribe and Save. She enjoys this product as it is gentle on her skin yet cleans very well. This is the most incredible facial cleanser I have ever used. Just a fingerful of this all-natural product leaves your face and neck wonderfully clean and very soft (it exfoliates not only with the sugar, but also with natural fruit acids), with absolutely zero tightening or dryness. Best skin care system I've ever used (bar none)
This review is for the entire Suki for oily skin system (Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser, Balancing Toner, Balancing Day Lotion).I have struggled with my extremely oily, congested & blemish prone skin all of my life (I'm 44). I've tried everything from cheap grocery store brands, to expensive department store brands, to exclusive salon lines (both natural and conventional skin care lines) with little success. Some worked better than others, but none of them really helped all that much. I was still so oily an hour after cleansing and putting on my makeup that my face would be shining like a beacon and my makeup would be melting off. I went through package after package of oil blotting tissues every day trying to stem the tide.Then I tried Suki. Even with just the little samples that I received, I could tell the difference. My face felt clean and refreshed without being dry or tight, and lightly moisturized after using the balancing day lotion.Hours...

OMG!!!
A small organic store close to me just recently opened up and i stopped in since ive been wanting to start an organic skin regimen. the first product i tried was called "Talulah". It was ok, i wasn't amazed by it. I then tried Suki and OMG leme tell you how amazing this stuff is! It smells soooooo good i want to just eat it! It leaves your skin so soft and so smooth and there is no dryness or tightness from it!My face has become more and more acne prone (i'm a 25 year old female who never had acne probs throughout my teen years) suddenly when I hit 24 acne started popping up like crazy and nothing was helping me! In fact a lot of the other main stream stuff out there (Clean and Clear, and Noxema, etc.) seemed to irritate my skin even more.I use Suki Lemongrass cleanser, and then the Concentrated Balancing Toner (previously called the White Willow Toner) and then I finish it off with the Balancing Day Lotion (previously called the Velvet Facial Cream) and WOW...

If you are torn between 2 books on this subject - get this one!
This book is absolutely awesome. The recipes are simple (and great at that!), she gives a lot of background info on each of the ingredients. Being a licensed cosmetologist myself, I can tell you that she really knows her stuff (she is a licensed esthetician). I have been making my own bath and body products for a few years (using pre-made bases from suppliers) but just decided to introduce a completely organic line of products and I think this is the best book that I have read so far on the subject and highly recommend it. Great for beginners or those who have been doing this a while.

Simply Awesome!
I LOVE this book!! Not only are there tons of cosmetic concoctions (ranging from creamy body butters & lotions to herbal hair conditioners & foot soaks), but there are also thorough descriptions of different hair & skin types that each recipe will benefit. It even has a section on edible body potions that you may want to try on your "honey" (think sensual love-making). The best part is that each recipe gives you just enough to yield about 1 to 2 applications. That way, you can decide which ones you like and which ones you don't before you make large batches of it. All the ingredients are easy to find (there is an appendix on where to buy / order) and the author even gives us a comprehensive list of the different properties of herbs, oils, essential oils, etc. that you can use in these recipes. I've made & tried three so far (coconut body butter, rosemary hair rinse, & orange sugar scrub) and have found each one to be great. I can't wait to experiment with the rest of them!

Good for casual/basic recipes, but may not satisfy everyone
I purchased this book primarily because I am interested in making my own lotion, preferably with safe/natural/eco-friendly ingredients. I don't necessarily want to market it, like another reviewer, but I would like to make lotion that is somewhat professional/sophisticated. After a quick Google search, I had learned that lotions tend to include water-based ingredients, oil-based ingredients, an emulsifier (which ensures that the water and oil ingredients stay mixed together), and some kind of preservative. I bought this book thinking that it might go into a bit more detail about basic lotion formulas (ratios of ingredients to each other), or at least provide some recipes that I could learn from.As it turns out, I had already learned more about lotion-making from my Google search than I learned from this entire book.
