Excellent recommendation from my dermatologist!
I went to the dermatologist for help with my very dry and very sensitive skin. My dermatologist recommended that I no longer exfoliate due to the sensitivity and try Cetaphil. I'd heard of it before but never wanted to try it.So I've been using Cetaphil for only a week, and my skin is radiant! My pores are tiny, my t-zone is no longer flaking, I have no more random annoying whiteheads, and my face is absolutely glowing. Even my boyfriend has commented on my newly supple complexion!The product also doesn't leave my skin looking/feeling oily later on, even in the morning after I wake up. Cetaphil feels very balanced and light while managing to be quite effective. I also like that it is fragrance free -- I do not need the added ingredient on my sensitive face.I ~highly~ recommend this product if you're still looking for one that works. Love this Stuff!
I recently switched to Cetaphil from Clinique's Dramatically Different lotion, and I will never go back! I am in my twenty's so my skin is beyond that awkward teen stage but not yet at the point where I am using any thing to stop or lessen wrinkles. Since the switch, my pores don't feel as clogged, I hardly ever break out, and the SPF is in the lotion so I don't even have to think about if my face is protected from the sun! Plus it's more affordable! And in this economy getting a great product at a great price is crucial!

Very hydrating - absorbs fast
I have dry skin, and I've struggled with finding a moisturizer for my face that was very hydrating but not too greasy. This product is great!! I don't have dry flaky skin any more. It absorbs fast and really helps my make-up go on smoothly. I like that it also has some SPF as well.

Excellent Sun Protection
This is a very good sunscreen product, and very straight forward. It has an impressive amount of effective sunscreen ingredients in a standard lotion base. There are no bells and whistles. It's sunscreen without fragrance, so it's suitable for men and women.My face is oily and my neck is normal. This is somewhat heavy on my face, but not surprisingly so, given the high degree of protection. It is not heavy on my neck at all. It does leave a bit of a white cast which seems to fade as the skin absorbs the product. No one has called me Casper yet, so I don't think anyone has noticed. Neither the whiteness nor the heaviness are deal-breakers for me. They're a very minor tradeoff for a good sunscreen. This is worth trying no matter your skin type, and I will use this product again.

Good *SPF* But Just *AVERAGE*
The CETAPHIL UVA/UVB DEFENSE SPF 50 MOISTURIZER is pretty thick, so all you need is a little dab to cover the entire face.The product claims to be "fragrance-free" but it smells just like every other sunscreen out there. That "sunscreen" plastic scent is really strong at first, but it went away after about 3-5 minutes or so.I found the cream left a shiny-sheen on my face, though it wasn't oily and it's supposed to be "non-greasy," but I definitely had some shine going on.Another thing I noticed was the thick-white color of the CETAPHIL UVA/UVB cream--probably from the titanium-dioxide--left my face with an ashen(ashy) color and I have very light olive-colored skin. But I've seen this happen with other sunscreens out there with an SPF higher than 25, so it's not unusual. But if you're dark-complected it can be a problem. A DEPENDABLE PRODUCT

lifetime user!
The weight, absorption, moisturizing and price value are remarkable for this product. I have used other brands such as Olay and Nutrogena, as well as expensive product lines from my esthetician. This moisturizer is by far the most for the price. The moisture rich lotion leaves my skin feeling nourished all day. I have normal to oily skin, and the sunscreen in this does not make my face any more oily. Also, using 15 SPF on our faces is not enough. Love the amped up kick of the 50 SPF.

Disappointed, but it's an OK product
Only until recently did I start caring about how to take care of my skin. I researched recommended products with good ingredients and effects. I found Cetaphil and people kept saying how it was good and all that. I needed a moisturizer, at the time I didn't even know what a moisturizer was, and I bought this one with SPF 50 as I learned you need to have at least SPF 30 for it to do something.PROS:-Even if it is 1.7oz, it lasts an unexpectedly long time. I bought it around August 2010 and it's almost March 2011 and I still have some left. Keep in mind, I use it every single morning.-Moisturizes.. Seems to have been doing its job.. perhaps a little too well more on that later-It has a tint which has helped with covering darker areas of skin such as forehead. This has become both a pro and a con for me.CONS:-I have sensitive skin and the sunblock irritated only the skin around my eyes.. It took time for the skin to get used to it and now...

Fabulous for sensitive skin
I have suffered from eczema since my last pregnancy, and it hasn't gone away. I tried to treat myself with products from the natural & organic lines, but found no relief. I usually shy away from products like Cetaphil and others, loaded with chemicals and what not. But I tried it out of desperation (and convenience when my dermatologist handed me a free sample).This moisturizer is awesome. It's fragrance free, and so gentle. No matter how inflamed my face is, it never irritates or burns. I can even apply this right after an occasional exfoliation, and no irritation at all! I love this lotion....and was quite surprised.
I've had this lotion on my shelf for months and kept using my 'fancier', good smelling stuff. I guess you could say that I am sort of a 'lotion junky' because I have so many. I even have some in a storage room because I don't have enough room on my closet shelves for all of them. I have some that I love the fragrance and some that I just thought were better for some reason. I don't know why because I hadn't even opened my Cetaphil lotion yet. Maybe because it's in such a plain bottle. But, as they say, "don't judge a book by it's cover". I now know this applies to my Cetaphil lotion. For a while now I thought Olay Quench was the best, but I finally opened my Cetaphil yesterday and all I can say is WOW!! I don't think my skin has felt this soft in a long time. Better than medicated creams. This is the one we've all been waiting for!
My twin baby boys have been suffering from eczema since their 1st month, and they're 13 months now. Our pediatrician originally recommended Cetaphil & prescription strength hydrocortizone to get control of the flair ups. Cetaphil didn't help at all, so I tried the Aveeno Soothing Relief MOisturizing cream. That worked in combination with the medicated creams. But we still had to apply the Hydrocortizone daily just to relieve the itching & rashes. But THIS product seems take care of it all by itself!!! It not only gets rid of the rashes but also leaves their skin soooo silky smooth! Just how baby skin should feel like, right? We've only been using it for a week but I just had to share the good news. I am very happy with this product.

The best!!
My baby developed Eczema since she was 3 months old , very bad .. Now she is 7 months old... I used the cortizone 2 or 3 times and the problem became worse... the pediatrician recomended...aquafor, Eucerin, but none worked.. I found this one from aveeno and stared using it after I aplied Florazone.. it is a homeophatic cream and together both work wonderful... my baby's skin is very soft and beautiful, and no need to use steroids... I am not using the florazone anymore, just use the Aveeno Eczema Therapy every day, morning and night... I am so happy I found this product.

Good for adults too!
I've been having a lot of trouble with eczema on my face this past year and nothing seemed to help, not even hydrocortisone cream. I work 12-hr shifts at a hospital with very dry air. By the end of my shift, the skin around my mouth, chin and cheeks would be flaking. It's so embarrassing! But, I just started using AveenoBaby Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream and it cleared it up immediately! I couldn't believe it. I haven't even needed to reapply more during any part of my shifts.
