Excellent recommendation from my dermatologist!
I went to the dermatologist for help with my very dry and very sensitive skin. My dermatologist recommended that I no longer exfoliate due to the sensitivity and try Cetaphil. I'd heard of it before but never wanted to try it.So I've been using Cetaphil for only a week, and my skin is radiant! My pores are tiny, my t-zone is no longer flaking, I have no more random annoying whiteheads, and my face is absolutely glowing. Even my boyfriend has commented on my newly supple complexion!The product also doesn't leave my skin looking/feeling oily later on, even in the morning after I wake up. Cetaphil feels very balanced and light while managing to be quite effective. Love this Stuff!
I recently switched to Cetaphil from Clinique's Dramatically Different lotion, and I will never go back! I am in my twenty's so my skin is beyond that awkward teen stage but not yet at the point where I am using any thing to stop or lessen wrinkles. Since the switch, my pores don't feel as clogged, I hardly ever break out, and the SPF is in the lotion so I don't even have to think about if my face is protected from the sun! Plus it's more affordable! And in this economy getting a great product at a great price is crucial!

Very hydrating - absorbs fast
I have dry skin, and I've struggled with finding a moisturizer for my face that was very hydrating but not too greasy. This product is great!! I don't have dry flaky skin any more. It absorbs fast and really helps my make-up go on smoothly. I like that it also has some SPF as well.

Fabulous for sensitive skin
I have suffered from eczema since my last pregnancy, and it hasn't gone away. I tried to treat myself with products from the natural & organic lines, but found no relief. I usually shy away from products like Cetaphil and others, loaded with chemicals and what not. But I tried it out of desperation (and convenience when my dermatologist handed me a free sample).This moisturizer is awesome. It's fragrance free, and so gentle. I love this lotion....and was quite surprised.
I've had this lotion on my shelf for months and kept using my 'fancier', good smelling stuff. I guess you could say that I am sort of a 'lotion junky' because I have so many. I even have some in a storage room because I don't have enough room on my closet shelves for all of them. I have some that I love the fragrance and some that I just thought were better for some reason. I don't know why because I hadn't even opened my Cetaphil lotion yet. Maybe because it's in such a plain bottle. But, as they say, "don't judge a book by it's cover". I now know this applies to my Cetaphil lotion. For a while now I thought Olay Quench was the best, but I finally opened my Cetaphil yesterday and all I can say is WOW!! I don't think my skin has felt this soft in a long time. Best lotion ever for eczema related dryness
I've suffered from eczema since I was born. Never in my life have I found a lotion that moisturizes like Cetaphil Restoraderm. Trust me, I have tried even the most hard to find lotions and cream. This is only one in 5 products that the NEA have suggested for use on sensitive eczema skin. And it's worth the price. Yes, in the beginning, it feels a little light, but after 3 weeks of use, my skin does not have the dryness and inflammation that occurs with every other over the counter product I've tried. Normally, each week I have to use a steroid ointment to settle my skin from the past week. Not so with this product. Every time you switch products, the body needs to re-adjust to the new ingredients. I wish Cetaphil made something like this for the face.

Awesome -- use with the cleanser
I could tolerate nothing on my face until this. Used with the Restoraderm cleanser, my face feels moisturized and silky for the first time in years. At first the lotion feels like nothing special. However, as the day wears on, my face feels more and more moisturized. No irritation. No more flakes. Just be careful not to get any cleanser in the eyes or it burns like hell.

No Mineral Oil or Petrolatum, Works on my 5 MO baby with eczema & cradle cap
My 5 month old infant has very dry, flaking skin in patches from either cradle cap or eczema or both. Whenever I used a product containing mineral oil or petrolatum, her condition would deteriorate.This is one of the very few products I could find anywhere that works for eczema on infants but does not contain mineral oil or petrolatum. It works very well at soothing her skin. I use the lotion often and she drinks it up. I only wish they would develop a thicker cream as well in this line, because I would use that product also.I would highly recommend this to any infant with very sensitive or dry skin. It is worth the price to relieve the dryness and itching.

Excellent Sun Protection
This is a very good sunscreen product, and very straight forward. It has an impressive amount of effective sunscreen ingredients in a standard lotion base. There are no bells and whistles. It's sunscreen without fragrance, so it's suitable for men and women.My face is oily and my neck is normal. This is somewhat heavy on my face, but not surprisingly so, given the high degree of protection. It is not heavy on my neck at all. It does leave a bit of a white cast which seems to fade as the skin absorbs the product. No one has called me Casper yet, so I don't think anyone has noticed. Neither the whiteness nor the heaviness are deal-breakers for me. They're a very minor tradeoff for a good sunscreen. This is worth trying no matter your skin type, and I will use this product again.

Good *SPF* But Just *AVERAGE*
The CETAPHIL UVA/UVB DEFENSE SPF 50 MOISTURIZER is pretty thick, so all you need is a little dab to cover the entire face.The product claims to be "fragrance-free" but it smells just like every other sunscreen out there. That "sunscreen" plastic scent is really strong at first, but it went away after about 3-5 minutes or so.I found the cream left a shiny-sheen on my face, though it wasn't oily and it's supposed to be "non-greasy," but I definitely had some shine going on.Another thing I noticed was the thick-white color of the CETAPHIL UVA/UVB cream--probably from the titanium-dioxide--left my face with an ashen(ashy) color and I have very light olive-colored skin. But I've seen this happen with other sunscreens out there with an SPF higher than 25, so it's not unusual. But if you're dark-complected it can be a problem. Lifesaver.
Or it seemed so at the time. I was suffering from very dry skin and skin allergies and this product was the only thing that didn't irritate it even more.I'm a lifelong itcher. My skin is dry. I have eczema, dermatitis, allergies. It seems there's always something that makes my skin itchy whether it's wool clothing, drying cold winter air, or simply my skin conditions. I've tried just about everything over the years but regular lotions - even the fragrance-free, dermatologist-recommended ones - don't work for me. I've tried Neutrogena, Aquaphor, Lubriderm, etc. There are great applications for each of those but as a general moisturizer that doesn't make itchiness worse and really seems to moisturize gently, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream does the trick. Creams, lotions, and petroleum-based moisturizers all feel differently and work differently. Some irritate my skin, some don't. So far, this cream has not disappointed me in any way. Highly recommended.

Great for everyone
I absolutely love the cetaphil in the jar. It's incredibly thick but absorbs quickly and without leaving a greasy feeling behind. I used it head to toe throughout my pregnancy and it relieved the itching much better than any other cream i tried. My three month old had developed eczema and dry, chapped, winter skin and after just a few days this cream had completely cleared up the problems. It is really fragrance free (literaly no smell unlike many other "fragrance free") and I would highly recommend it to anyone as a daily moisturizer!

Relieves Psoriasis-related symtoms
Since 1995 I was diagnosed with psoriasis. I follow the therapy prescribed and have been living as close to normal as possible. Psoriasis is a condition wherein certain areas of your body, the skin matures at a very accelerated pace. I get the new skin to dead skin cycle twice in a day. It is unsightly and uncomfortable. I use a medication which retards the process but I accepted the fact that unless I undergo an expensive therapy, the condition will prevail. The Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream has relieved me of much discomfort due to the constant flaking of my skin. I sleep well at nights not waking up to the itchiness and the sandpaper roughness brought about by the psoriasis.
