Absolutely THE BEST over the counter eczema lotion!!!
I have had eczema my entire life - my hands would get so red and dry in the winter that they would bleed! - and I found nothing over the counter that would work. Sure the prescriptions helped - but they would give me a tiny tube that cost too much and lasted a week. Dermarest lotion (emphasis on "lotion" - I found the cream version they offer does not work as well) is absolutely wonderful. I have told many family and friends about this product and everyone loves it. It even works on the children in the family (as our exzema is hereditary). Bottom line - it works, it's inexpensive and the size of the bottle will last you all winter!

NOTHING works on excema like this...
...wonderful product. I've been through every coal tar gel, itch cream, you name it, and NOTHING makes excema and its ugly rough rash and irritating itch disappear overnight like Dermarest lotion. It's a smooth lotion that goes on cleanly and doesn't sting. In the morning, your baby skin is BACK. You will want to order a case!

It works, really well!!!
I had what I considered a bad case of excema on my left hand and a little patch on my cheek. I went to the dermatologist, got some cream, it worked okay. I bought this product (Dermarest for Excema) and it cleared up in about a week. This stuff is the real deal, it works!!!!

Great item!
I use this now that the dermatitis on my scalp is more under control - keeps the build-up away, and the conditioner makes this shampoo less harsh than others. My Wal-Mart stopped carrying it, so I am looking for it on-line. All scalp conditions are different, and there are many products out there. I just kept trying them, and this one works great for me at this point in time.

An excellent shampoo for people with a lot of sensitivities
While I can't give this shampoo a perfect rating, I still feel it deserves a very high rating for what it does, and at least for me, it works very well.When you're dealing with the intense skin sensitivities that go along with dermatitis, psoriasis, and eczema (and such conditions) it's important to keep in mind that your mileage really WILL vary. ANY soap or shampoo may potentially contain an ingredient that triggers your personal sensitivities, even when it's beneficial to others. Someone else mentioned Nizoral AD being superior to this product, but that's the one that triggers a strong allergic skin response in me; I can't use it. Dermarest is milder and safer for me.The big advantage that Dermarest also has, as far as I'm concerned, is the absence of heavy perfumes and chemical odors. I have strong respiratory sensitivities to chemicals along with my skin sensitivities, and most of the other shampoos intended for psoriasis sufferers literally make me...

Great for acne too!!
Acne sufferers listen up... Although this product is for psoriasis and does not mention using it for acne, the active ingredient is salicylic acid which is also the active ingredient in many, many overpriced OTC acne medications. What is great about this Dermarest product is that it has 3% salicylic acid - most acne medications only have 2%!! If your skin can tolerate salicylic acid alright, I would definitely give this product a try for acne. It will dry your skin out somewhat, but the product has other ingredients in it that seem to counteract the dryness. Also, I found it not to be irritating. Another big plus about this product is that one gets a lot of product (4oz) for a fairly cheap price. Most other salicylic acid acne medications come in tiny tubes and cost a heck of a lot more. This one will last you a long time.If your skin does get overly dry from using this, another Dermarest product (the Eczema treatment) will help with any itching and dryness. That is...

Good news, this one really does work
As someone who has been burned a few times buying products that claim (very convincingly) to be phenomenal, and also as someone who NEVER writes reviews, I felt compelled to write this one.My husband had very bad rosacea on his face. We tried many different creams, some commercial, some alternative "all natural". He had no real luck. Then we sent for Dermarest, instead of a $60 product we saw at the same time. Dermarest was inexpensive and having been burned before, I thought at least we'd only be out $15. I never expected it to work.My husbands Rosacea is gone. He uses this every day. He noticed a difference in a day or two and after a couple weeks, his skin looked perfectly normal.Buy this, it is worth the price and more. Finally, a product that lives up to it's claims.

This stuff is amazing
I rarely give 5 stars, but this deserves all 5.My skin has been irritated dehydrated and flaky for months. I tried many different products, some of them pretty pricey and none of them worked as well as this product. If you have sensitive, rosacea, dehydrated and or flaky patches this is the solution.The price is very affordable.

Great Stuff!
I and my sons have eczema. We have been to the doctors and had prescribed treatments that don't even come close to what this product was able to do. I short it makes the condition almost non-existent. I apply a small amount to the affected area two times a day and our skin is so clear and soft. I am totally sold on this product.

Lifesaver !!!!!!!!!!!!
If you have eczema, I strongly encourage you to try this product. I had bad case of eczema on my neck and it was getting me really depressed because I couldnt really cover it up. I found out about this product on [...]. I just typed eczema medications and this was one of the things that came up with great reviews so I decided to try it. My eczema was under control in 2 days. I couldnt believe it! Only regret is if i should have known about this product earlier, I would have less scar on my neck. Please try it and stop your suffering. =)

Great product - the only thing that has come close to helping me!
I love the Dermarest Eczema Medicated Lotion. I have been using it for about a year or so now, and I am so glad I found it. I have tried everything from aquafor to udderly beautiful cream to gold bond and any other lotion you can think of. This product is the only thing that has come close to helping me. It definitely helps relieve the itching sensation from eczema and it has really really helped my skin look better as well. It is not perfect, but it is so much better than it used to be! I always used to wake up scratching my legs in the middle of the night and would end up bleeding from doing it so often and hard, and now I don't have that problem anymore! Yay! It is a bit on the spendy side, but it is definitely worth it to me.
