After 30+ years, this finally did the trick!
I have had acne since I was 13 and I'm in my 40s. It never got better...only accelerated to the point where it became cystic. I had severe breakouts, cysts, uneven scarred skin, fine mealy rashes of white heads...never a smooth face. As hormones did their thing in my 30s my skin got worse...for the first time in my life...I didn't want to go out of the house because the cysts had gotten so bad I was at my wits end. Please try if you have Rosacea
I have never wrote a review for anything but I think it would be wrong not to tell about my experience w/this. I never thought I would see my skin again. I tried everything thing in the world & my face only got more inflammed. I bought this as I saw pretty good reviews & have been amazed. The first time I used this soap my face looked less red...it has gotten better every day there after. I actually look forward to washing my face with this soap...a task that resulted in pain before. I am not taking my meds & still my face improves everyday. I credit this soap with my face clearing up...please try this if you have Rosacea. I am sure it will not be the answer for everyone however for this price it is worth a shot. Good luck & please give this a try.

I've been using this soap for 6 weeks now
I'm a hairy, rashy person who has a lot of minor allergies. When I read about the mites, I was intrigued. I thought it could be possible that I was having an allergic reaction to the mites' saliva or other excretions, so I had to try this soap.I like to give any new product a month or more before I judge it, and here's what I think:This is the best thing for my skin I've ever found and I consider myself a veteran in the acne war.I'm 40 and I've had acne since I was 12. I used tetracycline and accutane as a teenager. I've used benzoyl peroxide for over 20 years and had a brief stint with retin A.This is the only thing that has made my skin better. the hundreds of rashy forehead bumps are gone.This in itself is miraculous, but the rest of my face has also cleared up.I still get the occasional zit or two but now I can even leave the house without cover up on my face. I'm fine with one or two pimples compared to the red, active 40 I had before...

WONDERFUL
This is the best damn acne medicine out there. As a teenage my skin was so bad I used to pop pimples as a pass-time, but always figured when I become an adult I will outgrow acne and have clear skin like all adults. However when I turned 21yrs old, and still had acne, I thought to myself "Well... I still look young, I'm sure when I'm in my mid-20's pimples will be the thing of the past". On my 30th birthday, instead of blowing out 30 candles on a b-day cake I was counting 13 pimples on my face. By then I've tried ProActiv, prescriptions from dermatologists, expensive facials at spas, baking soda (home remedy), witch hazel....and yes even baby piss (hey...I was REALLY DESPERATE). ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WORKED. The smartest woman I know, my mom, told me to make an appointment with a dermatologist she heard of in NYC named Dr. Dennis Gross. Really awesome product
I tried this product a few years ago and thought it was great; I was younger and didn't feel I needed it and also couldn't afford it. I am now over 50 and still can't afford it but it still does an amazing job of making my face feel soft and smooth. It is pricey but women we are worth it!

I'm happy with this!
I'm a 34 yr old African-American and have had problems with acne for the past 20 yrs. While I still have issues with acne, I can see such a big difference in the way my skin looks and feels. I have very dark acne scars and rough skin, but this peel has faded the dark spots on my skin so that now i can actually see my real skin tone which I haven't seen in years. Looks pretty good! I've been using the peel for almost 2 months and I'm so happy to see the results. My face isn't as rough as it used to be, my pores dont look as large and overall my skin just looks so much cleaner and smoother. I still have a ways to go, but this product has really made a difference after yrs of frustration and embarrassment. I'd highly recommend it, especially with the price that amazon offers. U can't beat it. Also, I know some ppl have complained about them drying out before they've used them all, but I've found that if u close the jar tightly immediately after taking out a pad it lasts the entire...

Not a bad soap, but I prefer the Aubrey version...
I bought both the Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn Nourishing Bath Bar, and the Sibu Cleanse & Detox soap. By far, I prefer the Aubrey. So if you are considering both of them because of the Sea Buckthorn in them, I really recommend the Aubrey. It leaves you feeling cleaner, it seems to work better, and it smells/feels better too!That being said, the Sibu bar is also a nice bar of soap. The smell is okay, it's not that great, but it does lather nice! I've used it on my face and it works wonderfully and doesn't dry out my skin any more than any facial soap. That's great!I bought this soap because of the sea buckthorn in it... I was looking for something to help with my psoriasis on my arms/body (the little bumps), and so I am going through a sea buckthorn detox to kill off some mites. Whether it works for that or not, I don't know, only time will tell, so far it seems to be slowly clearing up my skin... but we will see!

I gave the product two stars for the following reasons. Cleanses well and smells great. Problem, not for individuals with sensitive skin. Caused skin to break out and become extremely dry. Recommend NOT to keep on face for any extended amount of time.

Just OK
I suffer from mild acne, have some redness etc, and read that the buckthorn berry helps with all kinds of skin conditions including acne. I also was looking for a glow to my face that the entire treatment promises. I bought the entire regimen (soap+repair cream+sofgels+liquid supplement). I have been using the regimen for about 3 weeks now, but honestly I am not that impressed. I like the smell of the soap and it does not leave me feeling too dry, but I have not seen any real improvement in my skin, or a "glow" etc. I will probably not buy again.

great for super dry complexion
This product has been great for my dry face. It is very thickand a little goes a long way. I use it after cleansing my face,followed by astringent, and then apply the cream. I have lostmy problem with scaling skin on my face and can use the newmineral powder makeup.

Face Doctor great for Rosacea
I came across the Face Doctor products accidentally via a fax that was sent to my workplace. I read it and decided to try it. I have rosacea really bad and nothing seemed to control it. Doctor bills were rising and having to go several times a year was inconvenient. Face Doctor beauty cream and the Face Doctor soaps worked a miracle on my Rosacea. My dermatologist said there was no cure for Rosacea. There probably isn't, but this is the closest to a cure as I've found, using it daily. I was totally clear in a month and haven't had to see a doctor for the rosacea for 3 years or better. All I can say is try it, but keep using your rosacea meds and once under control, just gradually back off your meds while using this stuff and see if it works. Work with your dermatologist while doing this. I'm not a doctor, so your situation may be different. All I know is this stuff is great.

A big fan
I don't have rosacea, but I DO have REALLY dry skin. This is the only product that keeps my dry flakey spots under control (base of nose and between eyes). Once the weather gets dry, I use this at night and Jason daily moisturing cream during the day. Also, I typically get pretty bad break-outs in the fall along my jaw line, but so far so good this year. I've also noticed that my foundation goes on a lot smoother - no more dry patches. I think the price is pretty reasonable as well and a little goes a long way.

Yes - it works
I purchased this after reading about it in a women's magazine as a treatment for rosacea. Not only have I recently developed rosacea, but I also had the crazy skin that so many people seem to complain about when they hit menopause. My previously calm and clear skin had morphed into dry patches, oily patches and an occasional viscious outbreak of acne. I never knew what was going to be looking back at me from the mirror. Well - I can honestly say that this oil has helped things get back to normal. I wash my face with a gentle bar soap at night and use 2 drops on each cheek and one drop on my forehead. Within days, the redness had calmed down and some of the bumps on my cheeks had gone down. I'm happy about those things, but the main reason I am giving this such a good rating is that the overall tone and feeling of my skin is back to where it was before - and it happened quickly! I use this as I described above at night and then I use only one drop in each spot in the morning...

I love this stuff!
I am post menopausal and have been plagued with acne breakouts and large pores my whole life. So, believe me when I tell you I would never put oil on my face. I read about Sea Buckthorn oil I decided to give it a try. I am amazed!! I have only used it for about 4 days but already my skin looks good enough to go out without makeup - something I never usually do. My skin looks and feels smoother, my pores are smaller and any pimples I had healed and disappeared. A little goes a long way and absorbs quickly. I use it after I wash on my face and neck in the morning and at night before I go to bed. I have also noticed my crows feet are less noticeable already. I hope with continued use it will also help some of my other little wrinkles as well. I would definitely recommend this product(and already have.)

Works for my rosacea
This oil has been a miracle for my Rosacea. I apply a thin layer on my face before bedtime and also under my makeup every day. I no longer have any rash or bumps on my face. My face is much less red than it was also. Don't confuse this seed oil with the sea buckthorn berry oil. The sea buckthorn SEED oil is the one that works on the Rosacea.
