Good but ouchy
This does in fact remove all the hair. It works really well in that capacity. The smell is very minimal and the cream is easy to apply. So why 4 stars? It left my upper lip with a chemical burn. I looked like I had a sun burn for a few days. It also kept burning after I had wiped and cleaned it off. I really recommend doing only the minimum time exactly and immediately cleaning it off. I also tried it on the little bitty side burns I had ( only I could tell they were there) and it worked really well.Summary: Product does exactly as intended but can/will leave slight chemical burn on face. I am quite satisfied with "Hair Off Facial Hair Remover". The application brush that came with it was defective but I just used a Q-tip instead and it worked just fine. It didn't cause any sort of redness or rash on my face. It did sting a bit as the 4 minutes ticked by, but as soon as I washed it off, my face felt fine. I struggle finding facial hair remover in my local stores and usually end up paying over $10. This product was considerably cheaper and I will definitely purchase it again. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars was because of the defective brush.

So I have used other products that do the same thing. You apply them the same way and wait the same amount of time. This product worked better and did not irritate my skin at all. After using the Gigi Hair Removal Cream - Face, I instantly threw away my Sally Hansen Brush On Hair Removal - Face. Sally's had always done an ok job removing my course womanly moustache but was pretty inept at getting rid of my chin hair. Ok, don't think I'm some kind of sasquatch but a few years ago I started noticing hair above my upper lip and chin that didn't used to be there ...guess it's a hormonal thing in a lot of women. Anyway I digress...After picking up Gigi at a Ricky's store here in NYC I tried it but expected pretty much the same result as Sally's. Let me tell you I'm floored! The area above my upper lip and my chin are completely hairless. I left the cream on longer than was advised due to my very course hair (maximum is 8 minutes but I left it on for 10) and wiped it off with a damp paper towel. I ordered this because I read about it in Oprah's O Magazine and they loved it. When I received it, I read the directions and even went to the REM website and watched a video of how to use it, but I couldn't get it to work for me. I almost gave up and thought about tossing it, but then I decided to experiment since there were other people who liked it.Here's what worked:1.) You don't necessarily have to bend the spring into a tight U shape as shown in the pictures (you can also use it bent just a little into a wide rounded U shape).2.) Lay the spring against your skin just below where you want to remove the hair.3.) As you slowly move the spring upward, twirl the right hand fingers clockwise and the left hand fingers counter-clockwise. If you twirl them the opposite way, no hairs get grabbed (this was the main thing I needed to figure out and the instructions didn't explain it).4.)
