Fake Bake - The Face
This is a WONDERFUL product. I have been a religious tanner for years and years. After finding out about Fake Bake, I will never tan in a tanning bed again and will always wear my sunscreen outside.This is an easy product to use and works fantastic. It works best to apply at night and then rinse in the morning with a shower. It does not turn skin orange or make you look like you got your tan out of the can. I will always recommend this product as a safe alternative from the sun and/or tanning beds. Please do your skin a favor and make it stay beautiful longer with this product! Yes, I will buy again! I have purchased self tanners that I want to wash off my face/body as soon as I apply it because of the nasty smell! But this smells like almonds!! Very conditioning and gives a nice color!

Good Stuff...but...
I love SUN products especially because it's paraben free, but also because it works & looks great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we found that the full bottle for the body works just as good for the face. Not sure why they make Strictly Faces, but I suppose some people may need a gentler set of ingredients. We are Med-Fair toned and use DARK which is not too light, not too dark. It also doesn't look orange or fake. So save yourself the $ and see if the larger bottle works for your face before you buy Strictly Faces. Who knows, maybe you'll need them both after all. Cheers.

This is my Holy Grail of self tanners, and I think I've tried tons form the cheapest to ones priced such as this one, and no other brand and formula can come close to this! I have been using Fake Bake one for about 5 years now, and I will never dream of stopping. There are a few things I do now, part of my self tanning ritual that are simple enough to continue for years. For best results I shower and scrub my whole body, with some grainy and even oily scrub, then shave, I also scrub my face with face scrub, then I use body wash and dry the skin at the end. Next I put on some light body lotion all over as well as my face lotion on the face. After about 30 minutes when the lotion sinks in ( don't use anything greasy, except for something heavier on knees and elbows, self tanner seems to accumulate on that drier and tougher skin) a I either wear plastic gloves if I have them( from hair color kits or cosmetic stores)or I use bare hands ( and I scrub and wash them about 3... Fool proof, as long as you follow sunless tanning basics
I've been sunless tanning for well over 7 years. When I don't sunless tan, I am naturally so pale that I have a blue tint. A CPR instructor once used me as an example of what someone would look like if they weren't getting enough oxygen, and no, I'm not kidding you. I've used everything from drugstore graduals to airbrush solutions, and I hope they never stop making this Fake Bake lotion. There's a sunless tanning community forum where this was mentioned as being foolproof, and I thought I'd try it as I always ended up with streaking on my legs with the airbrush solution I was using, and graduals didn't give me enough color to be worth it.Let me tell you, this Fake Bake lotion is great, definitely foolproof. The first time I used this was on vacation which is a little scary but I wasn't disappointed. This is a great product!
I have used fake bake for several years and really like the product. I used to work for a tanning salon where I would administer spray tans, and fake bake has many of the same ingredients as the solution we used (specifically DHA which is what makes you look tan). You need to use gloves when you put it on, and I would recommend putting lotion on your knees, ankles, feet, and elbows before applying the Fake Bake lotion to avoid getting these areas too dark. Also, you can use regular Fake Bake on your face; I have very sensitive skin, but if I mix a small amount of Fake Bake with my regular face lotion, I don't have any problems (they have a special one for faces too if you prefer). Fake Bake goes on very dark so that you can see any areas that you have missed. You are supposed to put it on before bed and wash it off in the morning. It has never stained my sheets. I can tell a significant difference the very first time I use it. It normally takes 2-3 times for me to get my desired... Top to learn more

I just bought this and I am SO GLAD I did - I have been using self-tanners for years and this is superior. The "faux tan" is almost better than natural - it doesn't have an orange-y color, the lotion smells wonderful and there are no streaks left behind. It's tinted to help with even application. Best Self Tanner
This is the best sunless tanner I've ever used. I've tried St. Tropez, Fake Bake, Clinique etc. and they've never given me any color. I tried the Bare Escentuals Faux Tan, and it's non greasy, dries quickly and has a pleasant smell. I woke up to a beautiful, natural golden color. Twenty two dollars may seem a bit pricey, but it's well worth it. I spent almost fifty dollars on St. Tropez and had to practically use the whole bottle in a week to see any color change. Tried them all...Faux Tan the is the best by far.
There isn't a self-tanner I haven't tried. I started using Faux Tan about three years ago and it's become part of my regular beauty routine. I try to protect my skin as much as possible, but I love being tan. This is the most natural product I've found. There is a "body brush" available on QVC...make the investment as it makes application a breeze even for the face. You won't be disapointed with this purchase. There is a very slight smell to it...the typical smell, but much less than any other product. The tan lasts for at least 4 days as long as you don't exfoliate. Natural, Tan + Flawless
I have tried several brands of facial tanners. My experience has been that most of them turn very orange and uneven, or they only last 1-2 days before washing off completely. I do not like using tinted self tanners on my face because they always make my face look dirty, and they make me look like I have black heads! But this is the color of sand. It leaves a nice glow on the skin that looks very pretty under makeup. I use it in place of my primer. It did not clog my pores and gave me such a natural and toasty tan in just a few hours. Unbelieveable!!
I have been using sunless tanners for years and haven't found a one that was acceptable in every way until now. This facial tanner is unbelieveable. I put on one thin layer of it last night before bed and this morning my face looks sun kissed and a beautiful light tan - no orange, no streaks, no darker color over age/sun spots. I'm so shocked by how well it worked on my VERY fair skin. I also used the Tan Extender on my arms, chest and legs and this morning they have some color also. NORMAL color. Outstanding product. Self Tanning Dove Face Moisture
Order shipped and arrived as promised. Reasonable price. The product goes on nicely. I fooled myself thinking well now I don't need foundation anymore. When it first goes on it looks beautiful, really as if no make up is needed. Once it's dries a little make up is still needed. Maybe if I keep using it, I will have the baby soft look. Applying a self tanner to your face has to be done right bc everyone you encounter will see it. I only apply my tanner to 3 parts on my face in light circular way: forehead, nose and upper cheeks. Taking the pea-sized amount and in a light circular motion work the self tanner evenly over your face with careful attention to avoid your eyes and lips ( remember folks, DHA is the main tanning agent in most tanners and it is meant ). 7. Think of it this way – if the self tanner works by affecting the color of the dead skin cells in the top layer of your skin then the “deader” (ok, this sounds a bit strange, but bear with us) the skin the sooner it will slough off and the sooner...
