Clarisonic vs. Olay Pro-X - an excellent value!
I know you are wondering if a $28 item can compare at all to something that cost nearly ten times the price. The answer is YES! I have the Clarisonic Pro - which is the top of the line for their model, so before you spend the money on both, I'll do a side by side comparison for you. Mind you, I am VERY happy with my Clairsonic. Even knowing that this I am happy I made the purchase for both of them, since they are fairly different. Here's why:Size: The Olay Pro-X is about half the size of the Clarisonic. This is actually better in many ways. It is easier to hold, lightweight, it fits in my shower caddy easily without dropping, you can travel with it very easily. I think this is my favorite part about the differences. It also makes the brush head much smaller, which has a different effect. Of course, the motor is at least half the size as well, and this effects how this feels. Amazing
I was looking for something like this but I didn't want to spend $200 on the other brand when I wasn't sure it would work. For $30 I can take a bit of a chance. I have been using this brush since Christmas Eve and I am amazed at how much better my skin looks. At 56, zits and clogged pores that just dodn't want to go away are pretty much on the mend. Imbedded black heads have disappeared. I wouldn't use this more than once a day because it tends to dry out my skin. Hydrate after you use this. In short, I'm really glad I bought this cleaning system. A little instruction about how often to change the brush head would be nice, but I can live without it.

Used it instead of my clarisonic on a trip out of the country.
I didnt feel like risking loosing my clarisonic on a recent trip out of the country, so I brought this brush that I was gifted by a friend and I have to say it was great, not harsh but still effective. I wouldnt switch from using my clarisonic full time for this but I would definitely bring it again on a trip again and use this instead for a short period. It is very high quality and I love that it is natural bristles.

Bass Complexion Brush

Initially this brush was VERY stiff. I was a little afraid to use it on my face, so I first tried it on my arm. After a couple of uses, the bristles began to soften up enough to us it on my face. Exxcellent! But be care-ful!
I have never used a facial spa kit before. It appears small and cheaply made online. When I recieved it I did not expect this to clean so well for the cheaper price. But I am thinking "what the heck, only 20 dollars." The brush cleans deeply. It is soft on your face and the kit comes with instructions. I advice everyone to start on low, especially if you've never used this before. I ended up with a "red" face. It works! I am very pleased. My skin feels tighter and shines. This works great for blemishes of any kind. I have a few dark areas (surgical scars) that I wanted to buff away. So far I am pleased. If you dont want to spend a lot of money, but want results, try this kit!

My dermatologist recommended that I use an electric facial cleaning system, but the one she offered was very expensive. I chose this as an alternative. Great price and works well. I have been using it for about three weeks now. At first I did not use it every day because it dried my face out a little, but now I am using it everyday and love it. A nice addition
I have a problematic skin and this cleaner helps me remove all the make up properly. It was pretty cheap, and honestly I dont think any of the super expensive ones would do any better job. So no need to spend your money on more pricey brands! this one works just fine, I use it every day and am very happy with it. But ladies, dont expect miracles to happen with your skin! I am SO glad I bought this! I was SO terrified this was going to be a huge waste of $40 but it has turned out to be the best $40 I have ever spent! Good bye Blackheads!
I've always been super lazy about cleaning my face but good about staying out of the sun. Hitting 30 caused a mini crisis about my skin and seeing fine lines start to show. After a spa facial treatment, I was recommended the NutraSonic cleanser. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, so the travel size was my pick. I use a Bioelements face wash with it. After the first use I noticed instantly smoother skin. No more dry patches and seems to absorb moisturizer much better. It's a very similar to how my skin feels after a facial. The next few days my face broke out a little. My boyfriend used it twice and claimed he got a pimple that was reminiscent of high school. I purchased the Pretika Sonic Dermabrasion brush about 4 weeks ago, and it is a wonderful product! Originally wanted the clarisonic, but the Pretika is a great alternative and very reasonable price. My skin is combination (oily tzone). I dont have sensitive skin, so I use it daily on the lower setting as part of my regular skin care routine.. and once a week on stronger setting to exfoliate. My skin has never been smoother!! Its glowing, and keeps the blackheads away from my nose! I absolutely love it! I use glytone skin care products, and the brush definitely helps my skin better absorb them. Ive read alot of people who complain about the pretika brush dying on them after a short time... I believe that this will happen if u recharge the brush while its wet. Make sure the brush is completely dry before setting back to charge!! Especially the metal charging plates. no more shiny forehead
i've been using the pretika for about 4 weeks daily. before this my forehead and tzone were very oily. i would wake up in the morning and my face would be soooo greasy i couldn't stand it. about 10 minutes after i applied my makeup my forehead would be super shiny. i am almost 40 years old and my skin tzone has been oily for a few years and my pores just keep getting larger. after using this pretika for a few weeks the oiliness is virtually gone and my pores are definately smaller. i'm not going to say the pores are gone but i see a real improvement in my skin.before this i have been getting tca peels for over a year with no improvement in oiliness or pore size. especially on my forehead which would almost never peel because it was so oily. i was skeptical because the brush looks like it barely moves. but it does something because it is working. the price is very affordable compared to the other sonic facial systems out there. i think the brush may be a little harsh for...

Great Product...Double Duty?!?!?!
I love this product. There are sufficient microdermabrasion pads included in this pack to get you hooked on using it--and hooked you will be, for the results speak for themselves. My face is squeaky clean and smooth after using, and I feel like my other facial products are that much more effective (such as moisturizers and serums) after using this product every 3 days. It seems to be having good results in terms of decreasing the look and size of my pores.As a fun aside note....I think that this product could also be used, ahem, for another purpose. It has two speeds, and the head that the microderm pads are attached to, can also be detached. So. Just sayin'.

Just purchased - good price (after checking out the ProX prices, and that thing they have on the infomercial at over $250).Anyway, at 61, my skin is pretty good for my age, but it ain't 25 year old skin anymore! This product has done a nice job, and I've only used it 3 times - I already see a difference, a 'brighter' refreshed look. Just for the hell of it, I used the pad twice, and it worked fine! Maybe I didn't use it long enough the first time so it still had some "go" left in it. Especially since my last blog, focused so... However I have a couple of trips planned for next month and wil be taking the Eve Taylor Facial Cleansing Brush with me instead. I’ve just used the brush with my dermalogica skin resurfacing cleanser and it has left my face and neck feeling very clean. The brush’s rubber ends are rounded, so they don’t scratch or pull the skin. Just thought I’d share my experience about trying to buy this brush in Australia. But it encourages thorough cleansing, and massages the face – increasing blood flow and circulation – which if used frequently results in brighter looking skin.
