It really works
I was skeptical about using this product because everything i tried to fade my scars didnt work.My scares were really dark and heavy,I purchased this at CVS and I started using as directed and I showed my mom my scars and she was amazed because my scars looked really light they are almost hardly noticeable now.I had a transplant when I was 13 and now I'm 20 and because of my scars I didn't feel good about myself and I was self conscious about my body so thought that I would give it a try and I'm satisfied with the result.I currently ran out but I will definitely be purchasing it again (: I can't live with out it,it's definitely a genuine product :) I hope this review helps.

ScarAway Scar Serum worked very well on Nose Scar
I had surgery to remove a growth on my nose, and they had to go much deeper than we all hoped. My doctor recommended ScarAway silicone products (I had used the ScarAway sheets before). I chose to use the Serum for daytime use and sheets at night because of the location of my scar. This product was a godsend for me. My nose and off to the right side appeared very disfigured to me after the surgery, and after using this regimen I am finally looking and feeling like myself. The results have been dramatic. There were raised up purple areas in a circle around a large sunken "hole". After using this combination daily as directed, my skin leveled out quite well and the discoloration has completely disappeared. I saw changes much faster with using them together than only one or the other. I had used the sheets before for a surgery scar, and result were also fantastic, but this was much faster. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great product to diminish scars. Awful dispenser.
I've been using ScarAway gel for almost a year because I have keloids. The serum has worked slowly but wonderfully. Even the itchy sensation disappeared after 6 months.The only thing I really don't like is the new dispenser. The cylinder is extremely big for the amount of gel, and the massaging applicator must be pressed hard against your skin for the serum to come out, after pressing the opposite end. At least in my case, it hurts a lot. And the diameter is big for my scars so I waste gel every time I use the product.I looked for the old format everywhere but it seems that the small bottle has been discontinued. I don't think it was necessary to make the new applicator so complicated.So the gel gets 5 stars but I'll give 2 stars to the new system.

Good stuff.
I ran into this company's products at a conference in mid 2008. As always, I was very skeptical. I got a tube and began applying to a scar I had from something the dermatologist snipped off about a year ago. That scar, though small, was puffy and had been itching ever since the procedure. After about three weeks of applying Kelocote to my scar, the swelling was gone and it was no longer itchy. It also is no longer bright red. I don't know what is in it, and I don't have any idea how it works, but it definitely works. Almost wish I had another scar so I can use the rest of the tube!

Spectragel
I was initially skeptical about this product based on my experiences, with other products I have tried. I bought into the selling points of other products, only to come up short in the end. Other products have worked to some extent, but then would fizzle out. I have yet to have that experience with Spectragel. I have been using this product for over two weeks on a 20 year old chicken pock scar, and a year and a half 2nd degree burn scar, and the results have been overwhelmingly great. I've tried just about every product I could get my hands on, and after a decade I think I may have found a miracle. both scars are lighter in color, flatter, and surprisingly have shrunken in just over a two weeks.I follow the instruction to the letter, which states to leave the product on for 12 hours which I do. I also place a band-aid over the product if I'm turning in for bed, to protect the product. This product so for has been amazing but again- it's only been two weeks, so I will return with...

Good silicone gel but does not dry like it says
This silicone gel does work however it does not dry like it says it does. So you will have to put up with the gel not drying so I only put it on at night and try to not sleep on the side where the scar is, but you eventually do. However it does work and the scar is noticeably flatter.

My plastic surgeon recommended ScarAway silicone sheets for treatment of a 6" long and 1/4-1/2" wide jagged, irregular, red, thickened scar that resulted from surgery on my arm after an accident. How Scar Away Does after a 2.5 months
Most reviews of this product were not helpful since reviewers did not wait long enough to get results. My raised scar was a challenge for this product since it was 2 yrs old, I am in my mid-50s, and I definitely tend to scar. But after a full 2 months I finally decided the product helped. After 2 additional weeks I am quite pleased since the scar has shrunk down and is softer and less noticeable. This is for patient and determined people. In the last month, during hours when I left the scar uncovered, I rubbed on a dab of Mederma and that seemed to have helped too. Reviewers complained about the patches not staying put - just take a bandaid, peel off the gauze, and use it to hold down the patch.

Great product that actually works
I was so surprised after a few weeks of using this product. My scars look years old, and I recently had surgery about 6 weeks ago! The scars used to be raised and bright red and purple, but not anymore. They are smooth and almost all the color has disappeared. It looks as if they have been healing for years. The only complaint that I have it the adhesive wears off after 3-4 days and each strip is supposed to last a whole week. Other than that, it's a great product.

Finally Gave Me My Face Back
I had some small scars on my face from trying to get rid of some milia bumps with a needle... and finally after using this stuff for about a month my face looks like it used to look 2 years ago before i started getting the bumps... i used a crapload of natural oils and cocoa butter plus other stuff i bought off of here that was supposed to get rid of scars like Palmers Cocoa Butter Scar Serum and New Skin Scar Fade and none of them worked... after using all that stuff i finally used this 6/7 months later and the small knife looking scars started to blend in and fadewasnt sure if it would work becuz the company says it works pretty much just for keloid scars... the kind that look like a bump.... not too many scar creams say they can get rid of scars made by needles or knives... it only took about a week to see the difference.. fist time i rubbed it in it plumped the skin around the line scar up and it stayed that way... olive oil kind of did the same thing but it would go...

WOW - I just got this stuff. Just mixcrazy glue with tree sap and you've got this stuff! UGH!Clear gel. No smell. Can I stand it long enough to seeif it helps my scar fade? We will see...
