Best tinted moisturizer I have EVER used!
I have been a Neutrogena fan since I was 8 years old, and I'm now in my early 30's - so we're talking over 20 years. I refuse to wear heavy or obvious make-up, and even light foundations end up an oily mess on my skin (except for Almay's Nearly Naked - that stuff is great, but doesn't moisturize effectively and doesn't keep my skin as matte as this one does). I have had oily, acne-prone skin since I was very young, and every moisturizer I have tried to use has broken me out. Also, while I realize I need to start being more diligent in my use of sunscreen now that I am getting older, sunscreen breaks me out and gives me a headache from the smell. Most anything going on my face bothers me in some way, whether it's the smell, the oily feel, or my skin's reaction to it.And now there's Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer! For that natural look....
This product goes on very sheer and ligthweight and with the added benefit of retinol it leaves my skin feeling very smooth, moisturized, even toned and radiant. The look is very natural, most people cant tell im wearing it. This product works well only if you have generally good and clear skin. I imagine it wouldnt give much coverage if you have acne, scars or dark uneven pigmentation. But other than that, i highly recommend, specially for everyday wear. Ive been using it now for about 2 months and a little goes a long way. The pump dispenser makes it real easy to control amount you wish to apply and is less messy than regular bottled foundations. Also in the time ive been using it i havn't have any breakouts, so i know this product is not clogging my pores.So... if you want that sheer natural look....this product is for you.

I was looking for something that I could use on my more mature skin. I need a moisturizer, but also wanted a product that would provide light coverage to even out my skin tone and minimize pores. I'm finally tan!
I have spent my entire life feeling ashamed to wear shorts and skirts due to my fair skin. Every attempt I have made to tan has only been a bad burn followed by white skin. I tried to use sunless tanning prior to this and ended up looking like an oompa loompa, but thanks to this product I have a glowing, natural looking tan that looks great. It began to show after the first day of use and after day two I was as tan as I wanted to be. I remained that way for a week. It also has a really nice smell to it that's not over powering. I've used self tanners for 20 years because my legs are the color of snow. This product is the best one yet, simply because it's affordable, and more importantly it doesn't have that awful chemical odor! Favorite Foundation
I have used heavy foundations in the past and have found them fake looking, and pore clogging. Also, the old-fashioned kind gives me that greasy feeling and makes my face look oily during the later part of the day. Not so with this product. I love it, it just gives me enough coverage and keeps my face fresh looking all day. Plus, I like that it's organic. It's nice and light and gives me just enough moisture too. Excellent product. Love this product, could do without the lavender smell
I am one of those kind of girls that hates the fuss of makeup. Good Coverage for Low Price & Organic Ingredients
I've been eating organic food 100% of my diet since 1969 and have tried every brand of organic makeup on the market. Considering how low the price is - the quality is decent. There are other brands of organic foundation I've paid $27 to $32 for which give better coverage if you want to completely eliminate pigmentation, freckles, acne scars - but if you are on a tight budget, this is OK. Just understand it is a tinted moisturizer, very sheer and not going to cover up all imperfections in your skin.I also like the mascara and powder - I tried both the cake and loose powder in this brand and it is good value for a low price.I saw in Environmental Working Group one of the products in this line has some petrochemical ingredients - so beware of some greenwashing - [...] - but for the most part this is a very low priced, organic cosmetic. With a flat concealer brush I applied MAC Imaginary widely along the upper lash line and blended the edges up. I then applied Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream 21 Turquoise to the rest of the lid, the inner v, the lower lash line area and the crease and... For the rest of my face I applied NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 in Finland to my face and blended downwards to my neck. I used Fyrinnae Javan Rhino at my inner v. I used a blending brush and Urban Decay Frigid and blended upwards and inwards in the crease, as well as to the outer eye area and under the outer lash line. For my lashes I curled my lashes and then used Smashbox Lash Primer, quickly followed by the Too Faced Nylon fibers. This look turned out to be fantastic with my glasses on, so I was happy to share it. You can definitely see this time around that the NARS Tinted Moisturizer does add a bit more color to my face than the Sheer Matte or Sheer Glow. I started by mixing LaVanilla The Healthy Face SPF 40 with MAC Strobe Cream and applying that to my face and neck and eyes. I finished off my face with a mixture of Silk Naturals Illuminating Finishing Powder in Flattery and Oil Control Blur Finishing Powder. I took Fyrinnae Blue Whale and applied it to my lid and crease and lower lash line, blending upwards and outwards. I used Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Perversion along the outer 1/2 of the lower lash line. I used MAC Petrol Blue liner along the outer 3/4 of the lower lash line, on top of Perversion.
I only ever wear tinted moisturizer on my face so the Argan oil in the blush pairs perfectly with my oil-free Tarte tinted moisturizer. It’s so lovely and effortless looking it’s precisely what blush is intended to look like: creamy with a light, natural glow (NOT shimmery). For me it’s really long-lasting but I feel like this is one of those features that differs from skin type to skin type.
