My new favorites; move along Almay
I've used the Almay makeup remover pads (the ones in the small round container) for years. And they have slowly gotten more expensive. So for awhile I switched to gauze pads and an eye-makeup remover solution. Eh - it worked, but I didn't love it like I did the Almay pads. Then, I stumbled across the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes. I'm hooked. They are big enough that you can wash your entire face with them and still have a section available to take off your eye makeup (waterproof liner and mascara!) They have a wonderful lavender smell. (I suppose if you don't like lavender you may not like these.) I gave one to my daughter one night because I wanted her to try a new eyeliner, and she came back later and said, "can I have some of those for Christmas?" I will admit they are not cheap. But, the 2 pack of 25 means it lasts me 2 months (there are usually at least a couple days I go without makeup), and I get them on the Subscribe & Save, so it's an even better... Top to learn more

Not perfect, but still great.
I've been using this stuff for years, and I do love it. I have to say, though, it has a hard time with some things, mainly mascara and eyeliner. There's always a little that isn't removed. I wind up having to do "detail" work with a q-tip to try to remove what's left along my lashlines. It never stings, and feels nice and soothing. I'll continue using it, the price is right and it's better than most others.

No oily residue!
I really like these--and I have tried many others. What impresses me most is that I don't have to deal with that oily residue that most other makeup remover pads leave behind. I find it harder to remove the oily residue and if you don't get it all off, it can adversely affect your makeup the next day--mascara and eyeliner runs and smudges, etc. I guess I haven't had the problems other people are finding with waterproof mascara, etc. I find that it does remove that. I just leave the pads on my lashes a little longer, soak them well, etc., before I start wiping off the mascara. It works for me. Top to learn more

Almay makeup remover pads
I have been using these pads for years to remove eye makeup. They work great. I keep a container in the shower so the water softens the mascara. It just comes right off with the pad. Then I rinse my face to remove any of the chemical from my eyes, otherwise, my eyes tend to water. I do think they are a little too expensive. Top to learn more

Very small and thin
I decided to give these a try after the price on my regular Neutrogena eye makeup remover pads was too high. The Almay pads are less than half the price, but each pad is super thin. I don't feel like its enough to really remove all of my eye makeup, and I don't wear a ton. They work, but I like the bigger thicker Neutrogena pads better. For the price though, these pads aren't too bad. Top to learn more

Outstanding Product - Can't Believe How Inexpensive It Is!!
I have been an avid eye makeup remover user for 10+ years. I've tried all the products, everywhere from $25 to $2 per bottle. I've been using the Mary Kay remover for 3 years or so but recently ran out and didn't want to wait for my Mary Kay lady to get it to me. I picked this up at the grocery store last week and cannot believe how it stacks up to its competitors. 1) It removes makeup right away - you don't have to wipe and wipe and wipe for a minute until your eyes are raw, 2) It doesn't sting - so many products sting the crap out of your face, 3) It's not greasy - no residue left behind, 4) THE PRICE - you can't beat it for this size bottle! Better than any other cosmetic brand make up remover
I have purchased numerous make up removers from different brands such as Almay, Maybelline, Rimmel, and L'oreal within the past few weeks and none of them are comparable to the Clean and Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover!!! I wear black gel liner and kohl waterproof eye liner along my waterline everyday. With the other products, they can't take the makeup off completely. I have been using this product for at least 6 years and I am not even halfway through my first 5.5 Fl Oz bottle! I use this stuff everyday and you need so little that this bottle will most likely last me another 5 years! Yes, it feels a bit oily but it doesn't leave any residue and it actually makes your skin feel softer. You don't have to scrub at all. Not bad, not amazing
I am a devoted user of the Neutrogena acne wash line. However, the acne washes don't really remove makeup. Annoying, right? Last thing those of us with sensitive skin need is left behind makeup. I started using these wipes to remove makeup. I have also used the Biore brand of oil free wipes. These are thicker and softer. The Biore wipes are scratchier. I like these better. However, they are not perfect. They are pretty much useless for eye makeup.My typical routine: Wipe off my makeup at some point in the evening. I then wash my face (could be immediately afterwards, could be just before bed) with my Neutrogena Acne Wash Grapefruit Scrub to exfoliate and get in that salicylic acid. Also, I just don't feel 100% clean without washing my face. I have washed my face before bed every single day for the past 20 years, so it's a hard habit to break! After that, if I have a pimple, I dab on a spot treatment. I also take a cotton ball and remove remaining eye makeup... Top to learn more

Skin cleansing without the frills
This facial cleanser comes from the same company that brings you a cold cream that is a standard for removing makeup PONDS COLD CREAM.I think it can compare to any of the high priced products you may find at the department stores. The cost is minimal.It is hard to find in stores but easy to order from Amazon.It is light and non-drying. Use either with water or without. It lasts forever. Top to learn more

I'm new to using Ponds Cold Cream. I experimented a little with the original Cold Cream, however, it's a bit too oily for me to use every night. I still use the original on my decolette, neck, feet, etc. I tried the Ponds Deep Cleansing Cream, and it's worlds better for my skin type. I like to use it at night. Usually I will leave it on for a minute, then rinse it off with warm water, and then use just a smidget more as a moisturizer. Sometimes I'll just rub it on my face and tissue it off if I'm feeling lazy, but I don't like the way it feels on my face after that. My only complaint is that it's not as good at removing eye makeup as the original Ponds Cold Cream, and it can irritate my eyes sometimes which the original Cold Cream did not. Another thing to mention is that this makeup remover does not have any sort of dispenser, just an open mouth at the top of the bottle. I purchased this because I was tired of Avon's Moisture Effective makeup remover and all of it's suck.
