Really works!
This product does everything it claims. It clears up acne gently and moisturizes your skin at the same time. It also moisturizes enough so you don't have to use another moisturizer afterwards.I used to use Proactiv and I have really oily skin that dries out easily if I use too harsh of products. I find I have to have a delicate balance of acne clearing ingredients and moisturizers otherwise I have either really oily or really dry skin.Before using this product along with the Power Foam Wash has made my skin clearer, smoother and softer then I ever saw it while using Proactiv or any of the other systems I have tried. I love the tingling sensation I get after using this and how light it is on my skin. I went from having a bunch of zits on my forehead to very small if any zits on my forehead. Gentle, but effective
My skin isn't completely covered in pimples, but I am always breaking out, including those deep, painful ones. I got super diligent about my skincare a few months ago because I was tired of being in my mid-twenties with the skin of a teenager. I tried Proactiv, but I was left with skin that was red, flaky, irritated, and STILL breaking out. Not exactly a great combination.When I first tried this product, I have to admit that I was skeptical because everything else on the market seems to operate under the assumption that it has to be harsh to work. Works very well for me, *personally*
First off, I'm in my early 20's and have combination type skin with occasional, mild to moderate acne. I used nearly two whole ProActiv systems before switching to a Neutrogena kit and have found that this clears up my skin much better and faster. I find it very convenient that the Day Lotion includes SPF 15, whereas the ProActiv Repairing Lotion doesn't, even though ProActiv advises you to use sunscreen with their system when going outside. That would probably prompt you to buy their oil-free moisturizer with SPF 15 as well ($$ smart business move $$), thus adding another step to your skin-care regimen. I would recommend anyone with my acne/skin type who is thinking about subscribing to ProActiv to try Neutrogena first.Anyway, the Neutrogena kit lasts around 5 months for me. I still get an occasional zit or two, but with less frequency than I did in the past. I use a Neutrogena Rapid Clear spot gel for that with success.Word of advice: It might be best...

Finally, help for adult acne!!
I am in my early 30's and have been experiencing severe and embarassing break-outs along my jaw line, chin and cheeks for the past couple of years. I have tried Murad, Proactiv, AcneFree and many other systems without success.A month ago I picked up the Neutrogena system when I saw it on sale. Within five days days my skin started to clear. Now, I have a completely clear complexion and have not had a single break-out since starting the system. I have had no problems with drying and my skin is much softer than before. Works great for me
First of all, I understand that not every product will work for every individual. But, this one is far exceeding my expectations. I did some research online before I bought this. What I found was that what seemed to work the best for people was a combination of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. I looked at the wide array of acne treatments I had at home and they were ALL salicylic acid, but no benzoyl peroxide. I thought it was worth a shot.I'm 35 and acne runs in my family. My mom still has it. I was starting to develop very deep, painful acne that would heal in one place and then show up in another place. Nothing I was doing was getting rid of it. I found this Neutrogena system and I noticed some improvement the very next day. I'm a little over a week into it now and I can't believe the improvement! I am in my mid 40's, so my acne is a spot here and there. I've tried other products, but Neutrogena's On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula, has worked the best for me. Best Over the Counter Acne Product Money Can Buy
I've tried many over the counter and prescription acne products, and this one is definitely most effective for me. It is a 2.5% benzoyl peroxide solution which is actually more effective than the 10% solutions and is far less irritating. It's name is "On-the-Spot," but my dermatologist instructed me to use is all over as a preventative measure, as it is relatively gentle compared to some other treatments. Just use a moisturizer with sunscreen after applying it. As with ALL benzoyl peroxide treatments, there is a risk of bleaching to clothing. I've noticed that it really only bleaches lighter colors, such as pastels and some grays, but I've never had it bleach anything with bold colors such as black, navy, gold, etc.

Can't live without it, no more shiny red nose
A note about my skin-type: I am a 30s very pale-skinned female with extremely oily skin. The pale-skin reference is important, because this is a white cream, and when it dries it does provide a thin matte white layer of coverage. For me, for whom even the lightest shade of ivory makeup is normally too dark, this is a blessing. It doesn't make my face look dirty like tinted creams tend to do, and it tones down redness.This is one tried-and-true product I feel I can't live without. Primarily I use it on my nose all day, every day, to control oil and shine. It provides a long-lasting matte finish that no other product has been able to achieve. Excellent solution for acne
I have used a solution of these two products Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula, .75-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) and Neutrogena Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, Oil-Free Acne Wash, 9.1 fl oz (270 ml) Bottles (Pack of 3) and this have been the only thing that I have needed for have my face clean of acne for the last year.I use the cream in the night before go to sleep and the soap gel for washing my face on the morning.When you start using it you can use it more often if you want but is going to dry your face, I see results after 20 days.A friend of mine also use it and she now have her face clean, it tooked more time to her but it cleared her face.Excellent product overall!!!Note: You have to use it EVERY DAY, the day that you don't use it, it is going to start appearing acne in your face, as long as you use it every day everything is fine.

WILL NOT TREAT EXISTING ACNE
This product will not treat existing acne! It is, however, part of a solution for treating/preventing acne. It's important to know what this product is for. I'm in my late 20's and never really did anything about my acne. I've always had mild acne on my back, chest, and face. A couple of months ago I decided to take it seriously. I bought Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub, a similar product, and used it religiously twice a day on my face, for two months, in addition to taking two showers a day instead of one. During this time, the acne on my face would go away, come back, appear in different spots, just as it always has. Acne Stress has cleared up my adult acne!!
I've been using the Acne Stress Power-Cream Wash (not the scrub) for about 3 weeks now and my skin is the clearest and softest it has been in a long time. I'm 28 years old and suffer from adult acne. It's not that bad but I almost always have bumps all over my forehead and a few large, red ones on my chin, jaw-line area. I've tried countless washes but this is the only one that works for me. Within about 5 days the bumps on my forehead were almost completely gone. And the rest of my face had cleared up completely. I don't know what makes this wash different than the rest but it is the ONLY one that has made my skin soft and gorgeous. I LOVE IT!!!! I use it with the Neutrogena Pore refining toner (which I must admit I didn't use a toner before), and the Neutrogena spf 15 moisturizer. I am SO happy with the results that I am no longer afraid to go out without make-up on. I'll be buying this product forever

BEST face wash I've ever used
This is the first review I've ever written on a product I've purchased from Amazon. Often, if a product is no good, I just won't purchase it again and move on with my life. 29 year old acne sufferer, finally found something that works
This stuff rocks, I guess I've been doing it wrong the whole time by just using face washes and expecting my skin to clear. Suffered acne my whole life, and this stuff just straight up rocks. It doesn't make my face super red like most "leave on" topical acne solutions. I use a super mild face wash, this stuff, and then a moisturizer after it dries and I have no dryness/flakiness at all. My skin is smooth, clearing up fast, and just looks healthy. I'm very pleased and will definitely purchase again.

A life changing product!!!!
I am 30 years old and had suffered acne since I was a teenager. I had tried pills, visited many doctors, try whatever was in the market to fight acne and nothing was ever so good. For the first time after 15 years I feel my skin free and smooth. It really have helped me, not only cure, but, about all, prevent breakouts. I have already used it for more that four months and I am very very very happy with the results.After discovering this, I haven't used any other cream or product, except a Clean & Clear soap to wash my face. That's it.

The previous reviewer's skin must be extremely sensitive
The previous reviewer must have especially sensitive skin because I use this product twice daily in addition to a 12% glycolic acid cream in the evening with great success. I am thirty one years old and only suffer a sensitivity to sulfur products, otherwise, I would not characterize my skin as sensitive. Unfortunately, I do suffer from hormonal and stress acne breakouts and generally clogged pores. I am very happy to have discovered this product. I noticed much clearer smoother skin after only about a week of use. So far, I have used this product for about three to four weeks and have not suffered any of sensitivity problems. From my research salicylic doesn't usually result in such harsh reactions. Perhaps it is another agent in the product that is causing the problem for the previous reviewer. I highly recommend.
