Excellent solution for acne
I have used a solution of these two products Neutrogena On-the-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula, .75-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3) and Neutrogena Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, Oil-Free Acne Wash, 9.1 fl oz (270 ml) Bottles (Pack of 3) and this have been the only thing that I have needed for have my face clean of acne for the last year.I use the cream in the night before go to sleep and the soap gel for washing my face on the morning.When you start using it you can use it more often if you want but is going to dry your face, I see results after 20 days.A friend of mine also use it and she now have her face clean, it tooked more time to her but it cleared her face.Excellent product overall!!!Note: You have to use it EVERY DAY, the day that you don't use it, it is going to start appearing acne in your face, as long as you use it every day everything is fine.

WILL NOT TREAT EXISTING ACNE
This product will not treat existing acne! It is, however, part of a solution for treating/preventing acne. It's important to know what this product is for. I'm in my late 20's and never really did anything about my acne. I've always had mild acne on my back, chest, and face. A couple of months ago I decided to take it seriously. I bought Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub, a similar product, and used it religiously twice a day on my face, for two months, in addition to taking two showers a day instead of one. During this time, the acne on my face would go away, come back, appear in different spots, just as it always has. Towards the end of the two month period, the pimples on my forehead became huge all over my face much larger than normal - the type that you feel bulging out of your skin and are painful if they come into contact with anything. Smells nice, and effective, but be careful how you use it.
First of all, the pink grapefruit scent is awesome.And, used properly as an anti-acne cleanser, it works great. Used improperly, it can lead to dryness and increased breakouts.Acne is caused by the bacteria that builds up when trapped oil and skin cells accumulate under clogged pores. To treat acne, you must clear those pores and eliminate bacteria. Salicylic acid-containing products slough off cells from the top layer of the skin, helping you keep your pores clear. With all those dead cells cleared away, however, you're also thinning out your body's natural barrier against bacteria.The trick is, you need to wash away dirt and make use of the gentle exfoliation the salicylic acid allows, without taking so much off that you're weakening the skin's ability to protect. For my skin, one full pump is way too much, I use about a 1/3rd of a pump and dilute with some water before using.You only get so far with just a cleanser. To really treat...

Same ingredients as MURAD & just as effective....
This has the same cleaning power as regular Neutrogena but with a much better smell. I noticed with the orange version that my skin had a medical smell to it. This grapefruit scent is more than acceptable and leaves my skin feeling clean and tight. It does a good job of removing make-up. The 2% salicylic acid is the same strength and cleans as well as Murad, but for far less cost. The other Murad substitute that NEutrogena has is the Rapid Clear 3-in-1 Acne Treatment, which is equivalent to Murad's 2% salicylic acid gel (but again at a much lower cost.) These two products used at night, combined with an SPF 30 moisturizer in the day, make my skin very clear. You have to just continue it even as the gel "boils" the acne to the surface at first. Once the skin is clear, if you continue to use these, then your skin will stay clear. Much less expensive than MURAD!

Highly effective at keeping your face clear.
I've used a large variety of face wash brands over the past 15 or so years. I've been using this Neutrogena Daily Scrub for about two years now and find that it's the best scrub I've ever used. I like scrubs better than regular face wash because I feel the microbeads clean your face better. The scent is nice and neutral (not girly). And the price is very reasonable considering one bottle will last you a long time.

I have used it for more than 2 weeks now. My breakouts are almost gone, and skin feels much better. I only use it at night to avoid dryness. I use Neutrogena deep clean in the morning and also use Neutrogena 3-1 Acne treatment twice a day. I think I will keep using these products.

Finally something that works for me
I have been dealing with my acne for about 14 years now so I am accustomed to buying products that don't work at all. I understand that the one other reviewer saw no results at all and will probably move on to another product. I, on the other hand, am a buyer for life. I have what most would call mild acne, occassional break outs and large pores with large black heads, which to me is much worse than mild. Now, full disclosure here; I have been switching, trying and switching acne treatments for years trying to find a combo that worked. I use other products (salicylic acid spot treatment and benzoyl peroxide) in tandem with this one so I'm sure it's not working entirely on it's own. My skin started clearing right away, redness was reduced, and oil was almost non existent. Yes... OIL. I have horribly oily skin and this stuff, for whatever reason, takes most of it away. Nice cream cleanser
Neutrogena is one of the only brands I can use on my face without horribly breaking out. I have been using but wanted a second wash to use in the morning so I thought I would give this one a go. This cream cleanser is very thick and actually takes a bit of time to wash off as compared to other cleansers but leaves your skin feeling very smooth afterwards. The cream itself really has no scent at all, so it's perfect for anyone who can't stand scented products. Overall I would recommend giving this cleanser a try, especially if you're sensitive to fragrant products!

Awesome for Oily Skin
I actually found this product by stalking a perfect-skinned lady through the skin care aisle to see what she bought. So I bought it myself and it has been amazing! I've always been one to have tiny baby pimples all over my forehead and cheeks, and then those big underground ones on my chin and temples. I also have always had incredibly oily skin. This wash gets rid of the oil and tightens up my skin. After 2 weeks of use (twice daily) all the forhead pimples are gone and the underground chin pimples have come to the surface and relieved themselves and are clearing up. I know that sounds gross, but it's a dream come true for me. No new cyst type pimples have taken their place. My skin looks the clearest it has since as far back as I can remember. To be fair, I've been using an oil free "nighttime" mosturizer after each wash to replenish some moisture, so that may make a difference. Oh, and I don't find the smell to be overly strong either. I give this scrub five stars...

Best Wash for Oily Skin!
For years, I have been trying to find a product that clears my oily skin. I had using a topical cream prescribed by my doctor just to have clear skin. Best face cleanser I've used!
I've been looking for a great product for my face that doesn't dry it out. I found this product at Target one day on sale and decided to try it out. Since then I have felt so fresh and clean every time I wash my face. I think for my face, it's important to use a thick cleanser rather than the more water-like cleaners. This does the job perfectly. First of all, the smell is great. It feels so smooth and refreshing on my face and after I'm done the fresh feeling continues throughout the night. I highly recommend this product for those who want to have a fresh feeling face but does not have severe acne. I do not have acne but I do get the occasional pimple from time to time. Since I've begun using this product, I have not had any breakouts. I normally got it from Target on days it would be on sale but I realized that it rarely is and sometimes is $7.00. Luckily I discovered it on Amazon and got an extra 5% off when I subscribe.

Neutrogena's Portable Face Wash
Pros:This is my go to face wash soap for travels, as well as, now at home. I used to use the Oil Free Wash, but it was extremely hard to carry on trips. The liquid drips out of the bottle and its almost impossible to close, unless you get one of the different types of covers. However, this thing is much cleaner and less watery as well. It is necessary to use it with quite a bit of water, as it comes out in a cream like paste. This means that unless you actually wash your face there is no way you could use this as a cream. This has kept my acne away for quite some time, as without using this or a different kind of oil free soap the acne comes back fast and furious. I went through about two of these in an entire year, washing twice a day. So, it's not used that fast, but they do go. All in all, a great cleanser for the face.
