awesome product
So I've been using this a little less than two weeks, and I must say, it's worked better than many of the more expensive counterparts I've tried in a shorter amount of time. This lotion basically works as a moisturizer with the exfoliant AHA [alpha hydroxy acids], and I never really gave the idea of putting aha's on my skin because I thought my sensitive skin would go nuts but hey! my skin feels smoother than a baby's butt. [...]So I went and got it and I tried some on my face right away. It STUNG! And I was like, "hmm... let's give it a few more days."Granted you do experience stinging at first, but I stopped feeling it in a week [I only use it once a day since I have the spf version]So it's day 12, and my skin feels so good and smooth and clean looking that I feel compelled to write this review!

Fantastic moisturizer
I was so relieved to find this product on Amazon after not being able to find it in any of the stores in the UK when I moved from America. I've been using it for the last 2 years and have never found another moisturizer that gives my skin such a healthy glow and prevents breakouts and fades my freckles as well as this one. Only problem is that in winter I sometimes have to use a richer moisturizer once a day instead because the alpha-hydroxy can be a little bit drying. Overall great product though.

Not for face but great for sun damaged skin
I purchased this for my face but never used it because it's a bit strong and burns slightly when you put it on your face. So it sat in my closet for a year or so and then I decided I either needed to use it or throw it away. I started putting it on my arms after taking a shower and I was amazed that within a few days the skin on my arms started looking better. I have some sun damage due to spending too much time in the sun and I've tried other creams that were suppose to be for sun damage but this one is the only one that really works. So while I can't necessarily recommend it for face use (it just seems too strong), I can HIGHLY recommend it for sun damage on the rest of your skin.

Best moisturizer I've found for dry skin
I have dry, aging, and sensitive skin and spent quite a bit of time and dollars finding a relatively inexpensive moisturizer. This is the one. Doesn't have a lot of add-ins that irritate my skin, moisturizes all day.

Can't live without it

excellent moisture that lasts but absorbs
Twice the thickness of the light night cream --- somehow makes skin feel moisturized for a long time but absorbs enough so it is not so sticky. Excellent. Very neutral scent, with no unscented-chemical smell to annoy or interfere with colognes. As with all Neutrogena products, not a problem for my acne-prone skin.

If you've tried to find a moisturizing cream designed with anti-aging qualities in mind, you may have found that green tea extract is in nearly every one of them. I know this because my mother is allergic to green tea and we've been unable to find her a nightly moisturizer...until now.Ageless Essentials by Neutrogena isn't greasy, which I love. Feels really good on my skin
My 57-year-old skin is very sensitive and VERY dry. I've never liked to use creams on my face because they either sit there on the surface or feel greasy or are too smelly or get in my eyes or break my face out. This Neutrogena moisturizer does none of the above.When I first put it on my face, my skin literally felt grateful; I don't know how else to say it. There was no heavy odor, and my skin drank the moisturizer in like it was dying of thirst. It probably was! The first night, I kept putting on more until I felt my skin had had enough. After that, I've smoothed on just a little each night before bed. Light and Lovely
I have dry and very sensitive skin, and not many skin creams work for me; Neutrogena's Continuous Hydration Ageless Essentials is a good match for my skin, but not for night use. I would need something much heavier to last the night. It is great for daytime, excellent under makeup, and seems to visibly smooth out my skin and leave it with a nice feel.The consistency is very light and almost has a "whipped" look to it, and the first time I slathered it on my face and neck it was absorbed in seconds. The second (or even third) coat seems to be necessary for me, in order to last through several hours of wear. It has a pleasant aroma, and I especially love it on my neck and upper chest area, which soaks it up like a sponge.Well worth having if you like to vary your face creams and try something new, but don't expect it to be a thick night cream. Inexpensive, works as well as products that cost 10x as much!
I've always been a Neutrogena user, first their bar soaps back when I was a teen, then on to their line of moisturizers as I've gotten older. When this Anti-Wrinkle cream came out, I switched to it from the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion. The price was higher, but still much lower than any other trusted brand with Retinol.Awhile back, I had a chance to test Olay's Professional Pro-X Intensive Wrinkle Protocol Kit. Since I still had a full tube of my Neutrogena, I thought it would be fun to do a test. I used the Neutrogena once a day in the morning on the left side of my face, and the Olay kit (two items in the morning, one at night) on the right side of my face. Before testing, I took photos, then after a month, I took more photos. No difference in skin tone, condition or wrinkle appearance between the left and right sides of my face after a month!This was proof enough for me that Neutrogena has the same results as the Olay system for much less money...

Made a difference in my hands, too.
I've been using this on my face daily for about 2 years and it's left my face smoother and clearer, but the biggest difference is my hands. I was beginning to look at my hands and see my mother's wrinkled, age-spotted hands - yikes! I started using a pearl-sized dab on the tops of my hands daily as well and see a huge difference. While there's considerably less retinol than in a prescription retinol cream, it's also about a tenth of the price of what my dermatologist prescribed (which I never filled after pricing it).

RoC doesn't Rock like Neutrogena does!
First of all, I'm 49, so I'm not a 25 year-old who has no real wrinkles or skin issues such as unevenness and sun damage. I've got it all, plus super sensitive skin. I've been using this product during the day and even sometimes at night for a few weeks now with no irritation and great results. Some of my friends had mentioned another product that might be even better, so I briefly switched to RoC's Deep Wrinkle line. OMG. I only lasted two days using it because of the perfumes and the general heaviness/oiliness I experienced, not to mention it made my eyes water (and I didn't even put any around my eyes). I took those products back, needless to say. The grass is always greener--not.Neutrogena Healthy Skin is a great line in general. I now use the eye cream and the night creme as well as the day creme. I will stick with this line and not stray again. It goes on silky, no oily feel, no harsh perfumes, and no skin or eye irritation (and I use it around my eyes). I wake up...

Favorite Sunscreen
I am a dermatologist, and this is my favorite sunscreen. I have lupus and my husband is very fair, and this is the sunscreen we both use. I use it on my baby as well. It doesn't clog pores and there is essentially nothing allergenic in this sunscreen. Zinc Oxide and Titanium dioxide are inert minerals and don't cause rash. The only other sunscreen that works as well as this one is the 30 dollar skinceuticals version. I recommend it to all my patients. It's great. I love it!

Great for baby with sensitive skin - especially for her face
My redheaded daughter has very, very fair, sensitive skin and, like me, I'm sure she'd get a sunburn in no time. But, she absolutely loves to be outdoors. So I wanted to find a sunscreen for her face that's quick and easy to get onto a squirming, impatient toddler, and which is oil-free, fragrance-free, and doesn't bother her skin.There may be other products out there that would work just as well, but I don't need to look any further - this one is perfect! great product
My skin is very sensitive but also prone to break outs in the t-line. I tried lots of different brands and even the same brand's different products (loreal, nivea, olay, neutragena, anew, almay, ponds etc). I didn't try more expensive products (such as shiseido, lancome, guerlain, dior etc) because I don't like spending that much on moisturizers. What I look in a moisturizer is1. it should be dermatalogically tested2. and hypo-allergenic,3. it won't clog pores and4.to do its job without break-outs.Within this criteria and within my price range, this product is a good one. I gave this product 5 stars because I'm buying this for the third time and don't have any complaints.

Works well
I use this product because I wash my face twice a day with Neutragena Men's "Skin clearing face wash". And while that wash does a good job of not overdrying, it still does tend to make my face flake from time to time. So I decided to stick with Neutrogena and get their oil free moisture to use in conjuntion with the wash. Well it does what it claims; leaves skin moistened and is oil free and doesn't give a shiney look to your face. One squirt is enough for your whole face but you will want to make sure your hands are a little damp so you can spread it better.

Best face lotion for the sensitive face
I started using this product along with Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser and Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment Vanishing Cream. I can say this regime saved me, thank you Neutrogena! I used to use the Sensitive Acne-Free system but after awhile it just stopped doing it for me. I researched A LOT of products, looking to make sure harmful chemicals and all that were not present and I basically found all three of these products to be some of the best on the market, that are on the cheaper side. This is the last thing I use in my regime and I really love the easy pump bottle. Sometimes it dispenses a little too much for my liking but you can always do a half-pump or whatever your face needs are. It goes on nice and smooth and doesn't leave a dry or stiff feeling after it soaks in. I also like how you turn it to be able to dispense it, then turn it back to close it up; makes it very portable. I actually didn't buy this product off of Amazon, I get it at Walmart and it's about $9...
