My new favorites; move along Almay
I've used the Almay makeup remover pads (the ones in the small round container) for years. And they have slowly gotten more expensive. So for awhile I switched to gauze pads and an eye-makeup remover solution. Eh - it worked, but I didn't love it like I did the Almay pads. Then, I stumbled across the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes. I'm hooked. They are big enough that you can wash your entire face with them and still have a section available to take off your eye makeup (waterproof liner and mascara!) They have a wonderful lavender smell. (I suppose if you don't like lavender you may not like these.) I gave one to my daughter one night because I wanted her to try a new eyeliner, and she came back later and said, "can I have some of those for Christmas?" I will admit they are not cheap. But, the 2 pack of 25 means it lasts me 2 months (there are usually at least a couple days I go without makeup), and I get them on the Subscribe & Save, so it's an even better... Top to learn more

Not bad, not amazing
I am a devoted user of the Neutrogena acne wash line. However, the acne washes don't really remove makeup. Annoying, right? Last thing those of us with sensitive skin need is left behind makeup. I started using these wipes to remove makeup. I have also used the Biore brand of oil free wipes. These are thicker and softer. The Biore wipes are scratchier. I like these better. However, they are not perfect. They are pretty much useless for eye makeup.My typical routine: Wipe off my makeup at some point in the evening. I then wash my face (could be immediately afterwards, could be just before bed) with my Neutrogena Acne Wash Grapefruit Scrub to exfoliate and get in that salicylic acid. Also, I just don't feel 100% clean without washing my face. I have washed my face before bed every single day for the past 20 years, so it's a hard habit to break! After that, if I have a pimple, I dab on a spot treatment. I also take a cotton ball and remove remaining eye makeup... Top to learn more

Not quite what I expected...
I've been using Neutrogena face washes for years, but have always been in liquid form and liked them. Thought these cleansing cloths looked interesting so I'm giving them a try. The cloths come dry. You're suppose to wet your face and the cloth before using. The cloth is not necessarily that soft and will not lather up very much. The 'rough' side doesn't seem very rough at first take, but you've got to be careful not to use too much force scrubbing your face or else it'll get irritated. When rinsing face, it doesn't feel like the cleanser is all rinsed out because my face doesn't have that squeaky clean feeling to it which some people may say that's not a bad thing. While it hasn't hurt my face, the experience of the cloths is just not what I thought it was going to be. I will still use up my supply of them though. Top to learn more

Best Waterproof make-up/mascara remover
These towelettes are a good size, large enough and thick enough to do your whole face as well as extra attention to the eyes. They are fairly soft so non-irritating on sensitive skin. Removes stubborn waterproof mascara with just a few swipes, does not irritate eyes or the surrounding skin. Works great on removing lip stains/liners/all day lipsticks with a minimal amount of rubbing, so no chapped lips! The best advantage is that they are convenient for travel, no messy oils or lotions to deal with. I keep a pack in my travel bag and have never had an issue with them drying out.
