Great product!
I started using this product three months ago and wow what a difference! I suffered from teenage acne which never really went away and when I hit my thirties it came back with a vengeance. I'm 36 now and have developed VERY sensitive skin. Never a makeup person since it makes me break out. I even tried prescription acne medication, which never worked. Finally took a six month treatment of pills and it cleared my skin up but it was never the same. I don't sun worship not since a case of sun poisoning when I was 24. I also have a fair complexion which reddens within five minutes of being outside. I wear a hat while gardening due to the sensitive nature of my skin. Freckles everywhere, even my arms.I've been plagued with dry, sensitive skin and trust me over moisturizing doesn't work! I began to use Aveeno and Biore products and got my skin under control but I was still having breakouts. I've tried Neutrogena in the past but wasn't satisfied with the cleansers and...

Fades Scarring
I have light acne scarring that usually takes quite some time to fade, especially on my cheeks. So far, I've noticed that these scars are clearing up a little faster, due to the peel removing the topmost layer of dead cells, allowing the skin underneath to breathe and heal. I've also noticed a smaller breakout area the week before menstruation, which is something of a blessing.My only disappointment is that due to the price, customers can't get a small trial size and try it on a patch of skin before using it. Even at-home glycolic peels should be tested on a small, easily covered part of the skin before using it on your entire face. Some people have a terrible reaction. Use with caution before doing a full treatment.There is some notable flushing of the skin, somewhat like the increased skin bloodflow that comes with taking the wrong kind of Niacin tablet. You should have a tingling sensation, NOT a burning sensation. If it is in any way painful, remove it...

Great Product

Worth the Price
I bought this hoping it would do something to help my adult acne. I have very fair skin, so any pimple that comes along leaves a mark for at least two weeks that I have to cover up with makeup. I was amazed in that I saw a difference in my skin after about a week of using this product. My red marks were getting lighter and it was drying up new pimples very quickly. It also seems to reveal a nicer, brighter skin texture. The directions say 2-3 times a week, but I use it more like 4-5 times a week. It is a mask, so you leave it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it off. I have found that it is better to wash it off in the sink than during a shower. The shower seems to wipe out the product completely whereas the sink leaves enough of it on that it is still working throughout the day. Great product.

Finally! Even Skin Tone
I have lived with acne for more than 35 years. In my early 40s, I ended acne breakouts with a very strong prescription from my dermatologist (this happened after dismissing the UCLA dermatology department's treatment of 5 years and finding a new doctor who actually listened and agreed with me that my acne was in need of something stronger than topical solutions). After finally being relieved of acne breakouts, I found myself living with all the acne scars I helped create over more than 40 years.I am now well into my 50s and I have tried everything on the market, even expensive bleaching creams purchased from my dermatologist. I've found that most skin lightening creams--if they work at all--lighten your skin and the scaring in equal proportions, leaving the scars just as prominent as before you started using the product; you look like you're changing colors and you still have spots. Good Stuff
I have been using this for about 3 or 4 weeks and I can see a difrence in my skin. It does helps with marks left on my face and it also helps existing pimples on my face as well. I use it at night and I swear when I get up in the morning whatever pimples on my face are smaller. I use it 2 times a week. Also after I wash it of my skin is really soft. It smells like Downy fabric softner which is kind of funny to me. Define recommendation.

Finally, something that works.
I'm twenty-five and have had acne since I was 13. I'd tried many different types of cleansers and even a couple prescriptions from two different doctors. I even tried diet changes. Nothing worked until I picked up this Acne Response product a couple months ago. I started seeing my skin improve within about a week, and now I've had almost perfectly clear skin for a couple weeks. I'm almost afraid to jinx it by writing this review.Regarding some of the other reviewers' comments about the third step, it did dry my skin out a little at first, but that got better after a week or so. I do live in a very humid climate--when I traveled to a dryer area for vacation, I had to buy a different moisterizer and use it on the dryer parts of my face. Also, I think I probably have been using less of the moisterizer than recommended because it hasn't run out as fast as the cleanser or astringent. I have been able to wear it under makeup--but again, only a very thin layer, otherwise it...

Acne all gone!
I've suffered with adult acne all of my adult life. I've tried Pro-Active, but the $50+ price tag is a bit out of my budget. I tried Acne Response and now, for the first time in my life, I have clear skin! The product does create a little dryness, but a non-pore-clogging moisturizer solves the problem nicely. I'm impressed!
For a few years (I'm 43, Irish, German mix) I've been plagued with forehead and chin bumps and whiteheads. Sometimes even deep, nasty bumps. I picked up a trial size of Loreal daily (I've tried no-names which made me peel) and within a week, the acne was gone and my face is smoother. I am soooo jazzed. No peeling, but I only use it at bedtime. The lotion is really more of a mask. It does not work under make-up, it just comes up, like peeling paint. I don't use the lotion on my cheeks, just the problem areas. I've used it for two months now and no adverse reactions. I wash with the cleanser for one minute, and then rinse and use the two other products. For now, they have a loyal customer.

WoW! Highly recommend it!
The 2 step process is ingenious.The 1 step peel doesn't work as well (glycolic acid peel). This 2 step product package by Olay gives you professional results and makes you look half a decade younger.I thought it was a placebo effect until my husband tells me what I did to my skin and that I look a lot younger after he came back from his 2 week business trip in Asia.After 3 weeks of use, I notice a lot smoother skin with greatly reduced fine lines and wrinkles. I only use it 2 times a week because it is starting to get a little sensitive. I want to use it more often but don't want to risk it.If your skin gets a little sensitive like mine, I recommend getting pure organic argan oil like this one and apply a tiny amount over your face after this...

I love this stuff...
Buy this product and you will feel like you had a facial, seriously. I have used it twice and my skin felt ultra soft. This kit is easy to use, simply rub the crystals on your face for about 1-2 minutes. The crystals are like a salt scrub. Then put the peel serum directly on top of the crystals and rub for about 1 minute (it will feel warm on your skin). Then rinse throughly with warm water. Less than 5 minutes and you are finished! The kit looks like you could use it 10-20 times before running out. Be careful not to get it near your nostrils and eyes. After using this kit, my pores were less noticable and my skin wasn't red like most products will do. For $30, it isn't too expensive and you will actually save money by not going to a spa for a monthly facial.

Effective, keeps it's promise - reletively pricey, though
I hemmed and hawed over buying this, spending 15 minutes looking at it in the drugstore before deciding to buy it. Then I had to literally run to the register and pay before I changed my mind. I'm glad I did.I didn't know what to expect, since I've never used a microdermabrasion product before. I have no regrets. This seemed to lift a veil of dullness from my face, even as I was massaging in the tiny crystals, which are the first half of the treatment. Both elements of the treatment smell divine. I recommend this product to anyone who is on a tight budget, or dosen't have time to skip off to a dermatologists office over their lunch break (like the beauty magazines nonchalantly suggest) for a professional chemical peel.The missing star is due to the high price. I think that there are similar products on the market available for 7-10 dollars less, though I can't vouch for their effectiveness. All in all, however, a nice product I will purchase again...

Write Neutrogena & Tell Them Not to Stop Making This Product!
I've spent thousands on the most expensive skin care products, and this is one of THE best on the market. If you want to exfoliate your skin and make it smooth with immediate results, I highly recommend this product. Diane Lane did a t.v. commercial for it, and it's nowhere to be found anymore. I bought the last three I could find online, and the supermarkets aren't getting any in stock. I wrote Neutrogena, and all they could say it was backordered. Not sure what that means, as it was one month ago, and there still aren't any. If you have tried this and love it, because it really works well, please write Neutrogena and ask them to keep this affordable product on the market!

Good, not great
I started using this product after Neutrogena stopped producing its Advance Solutions Facial Peel, which did an amazing job re-texturizing my skin and lightening my sun spots. This Ageless Intensives Tone Correcting peel is good, but not great. It's nowhere as strong as the previous product, which makes me think that it's way less concentrated. I hate it when companies come out with good products and then discontinue them just to change their lines.I bought two tubes of this product and will use them up and then decide whether I want to continue using this. Most likely I'll give some other products a try.
