The name says it all
I have been using Neutrogena skincare for a couple of years now, and I've used the SPF 45, 55, and 70 sunblock, in addition to this one, on my face. I'm using exfoliating lotions, and have dark, sensitive skin that scars easily, so sunscreen is a must for me. This sunblock goes on much more sheer than the SPF 70 product from this line. It doesn't leave a pasty cast on my skin, and it doesn't sting or burn, even when it is close to my eye area. I highly recommend this item for those who need a high SPF.

Best facial sunscreen I've found
I have tried a lot of sunscreen, and this is by far the best I have found for my face.1. It goes on completely dry. You can't feel it AT ALL. I've been able to feel all the other sunscreens I've tried. You don't feel like there's oil on your skin clogging your pores.2. The smell isn't overwhelming.3. When you sweat, you don't feel it dripping down your face as with other sunscreens.4. I wouldn't recommend purposely getting it in your eyes, but with sunscreen, it's sometimes inevitable. Every other sunscreen has made my eyes sting so badly. This still stings, but much less than other sunscreens.In short, it's the most comfortable sunscreen I've ever tried.P.S. I tried the same version but in higher SPF. The smell was stronger on the higher SPF's, and they smelled weird and chemical-ish and sometimes gave me a headache. For that reason, I'd stick with SPF 30 rather than go to the higher SPF's. My doctor assured me...

Great product, but can hurt when applied around eyes
I really like this sunscreen. The UVA/UVB protection is so important, and most sunscreens only block UVA. The lotion goes on feeling like a regular greasy sunscreen, but it disappears rapidly into the skin and it truly doesn't feel greasy at all once it dries. I am not sure how or why, but I swear it also evens out my skintone. I do recommend applying a light coat of your regular moisturizer around the eyes first, as I find this sunscreen can sting when put on the delicate skin under the eyes. I made the mistake of slathering it on over my eyelids once, and I wouldn't recommend that you do that. I found when I sweated, the sunblock crept into my eyes. Ouch. So just don't apply it over the eyes and you should be fine. Anyway, great product.

The BEST Sunblock This Redhead Has Ever Used!
This is absolutely the best sunblock I've ever used...and I've used plenty! I'm a redhead (not at all compatable with sun) and enjoy scuba diving in Cozumel (where there's LOTS of sun). I apply it in the morning before diving and it lasts all day...I don't even reapply between dives.Another thing I like about this product is that because it's a mist, I can apply this sunblock in about 15 seconds. The first time I used it, I put enough on to make my skin oily...don't do this! First of all, this product is not oily and you'll think you don't have enough, so you put on more...don't! It's a mist and you just lightly go over your skin.Finally, another plus is that most sunscreens make you feel hot...they seem to keep your body heat in...this one doesn't!

Great Sunscreen
Very glad we had bought this for our vacation to the beach! I forgot the tops of my feet and when they were burnt to a crisp I realized how well this worked! My husband spent several hours in the ocean and it did not wear off after 5 to 6 hours! When it says water resistant - it really is waterproof & sweat resistant!However, if you are looking for a tan, don't get this. The 45 spf is too strong to get a tan quickly, I barely had any color after a 7 day vacation in my swimming suit!

I've used this strength and other SPFs from Neutrogena with great results. As for another reviewer's caution, this is from the American Academy of Dermatology' web site:1. Best sunscreen for the money
Love this sunscreen. I have purchased more expensive sunscreen, but it was really greasy. No greasy mess here! Does leave some white streaks, but if you rub it in it will go away. :)

Wow!
I have tried other Neutrogena Sunblocks ( Dry touch and Sensitive Skin) they both left my face either white or greasy. This was in my mom's bedroom so I decided to try it, I was amazed, it felt like I was wearing nothing. No white cast, no oily face. I'm prone to acne so I don't enjoy sunblocks but I have pale skin with freckles so I need sunblock. With my previous sunblock (cetaphil spf 50) I had to wear powder on top of it to get rid of the shine but with Neutrogena Spf 110 there is no need. The price is a little high but I loved it so much that I bought it the same day after trying it.

A MUST for everyday use!
Some Neutrogena products work for me and some don't-this is one that exceeds all other Neutrogena products! I have oily acne prone skin that is very pale. Over the years I have built up less sun tolerance, and a need for sunscreen daily because of the use of other products that my skin very sensitive to sunlight. It does leave a slight white sheen on the face-but because of this I only need a powder and not a liquid foundation as well. I have never burned when using this sunblock and my skin does not breakout because of it. Some sunblocks make my skin turn red and get a burning sensation around this eyes-this does neither and my eyes never water after application.This is both a chemical and physical sunscreen. It does have the spf smell even though it says it is fragrance free (depending on the tube/box you get) but it is nowhere near as bad as other sunscreens. Although it is suppose to be reapplied frequently-I apply it twice a day and most and do not have trouble with...

Pale people rejoice!
I love to go to the beach with my dog and with this sunscreen I can go for several hours without ending up burnt to a crisp. Even better, the cream doesn't feel sticky or greasy like a lot of sunscreens, so I find I'm much less hesitant to put in on. Their SPF 70 and 85 are also great for the body. I like the dry touch product line.

perfect for summer
This product is different than anything I have tried before. It is very thin, almost the consistency of milk. It feels like nothing is on. I'm a make-up minimalist: I use a moisturizer, and sometimes a mineral powder. There is no "product sweating". What I mean is, sometimes a moisturizer/sunscreen makes white 'puddles' when out in hot sun. This product has none of that. It feels really nice on my skin. And the high SPF is awesome. I definitely recommend this product.

Light product won me over
Neutrogena Healthy Defense Liquid Moisturizer SPF 50 With Helioplex is my new favorite SPF product for the face. I've destroyed my skin by exposure to the sun, so I do not go out without sunscreen, and this one is an absolute winner for my delicate and sensitive skin. Working in a garden, I often have felt my eyes burn and water with SPF moisturizers flowing as I perspired, but this stuff is great! I have been using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream with another SPF product on top, either a J&J product, Kinerase, or Kiehl's, but this is better for me than any of those, even the more expensive products. In a small bottle, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and the mixing balls let you know the product is moving around when it's shaken prior to use. The small tip allows for minimal liquid to be dispensed onto the fingers (directions say into the palm, but I use the fingers), so it's not wasted. I am not sensitive to the indiscernible scent and I've not shown any redness or sensitivity...

Don't know about the science, but...
I don't know about the science behind "helioplex" (my mozilla firefox browser puts a red line under the word, that should be your first clue it's a bit dodgy) but this thin lotion is a nice product that feels like it's working. I think it makes my skin look better (and isn't that what these products are all about?) The SPF 50 is great and the price is right. Neutrogena is always great for hypoalergenic products. This one smells a little like my mother's "skin so soft" but the scent doesn't linger.One of the better high-end lotions (hey, it's high end for me! I don't do the $50+ a gram lotions) I have tried.

Favorite Sunscreen
I am a dermatologist, and this is my favorite sunscreen. I have lupus and my husband is very fair, and this is the sunscreen we both use. I use it on my baby as well. It doesn't clog pores and there is essentially nothing allergenic in this sunscreen. Zinc Oxide and Titanium dioxide are inert minerals and don't cause rash. The only other sunscreen that works as well as this one is the 30 dollar skinceuticals version. I recommend it to all my patients. It's great. I love it!

Great for baby with sensitive skin - especially for her face
My redheaded daughter has very, very fair, sensitive skin and, like me, I'm sure she'd get a sunburn in no time. But, she absolutely loves to be outdoors. So I wanted to find a sunscreen for her face that's quick and easy to get onto a squirming, impatient toddler, and which is oil-free, fragrance-free, and doesn't bother her skin.There may be other products out there that would work just as well, but I don't need to look any further - this one is perfect!
