I was impressed
I don't put a lot of faith in beauty products (if only there was a facelift in a jar!) but I've been hoping for an effective way to remove facial hair that would not require paying for laser treatments. I tried this product on my upper lip about two weeks ago and was delighted with the results.You begin by applying a protective balm to the area to be treated and massaging it in for 20 seconds. Honestly, the balm feels like Vaseline. You apply a thick layer of the hair remover over that. The instructions said to leave it on for 6 to 8 minutes, or no more than 10 minutes for coarser hair. I left it on the full 10 minutes just to see how it would affect my skin. About 9 minutes in, I started to feel a slight burning sensation. When I wiped it off with a cotton puff, presto -- the hair was gone. My skin was completely smooth. It continued to tingle when touched for about 20 minutes after that but there was no redness or irritation. I put on makeup and went to work about 30...

This duo works together to gently remove facial hair for skin that's beautifully soft, smooth and visibly hair-free.

Application Instructions

48 Hours Prior To Every Use: Read and follow warnings and directions carefully. Conduct 48-hour skin reaction test.

STEP 1: PREPARE YOUR SKIN
Apply Skin Guarding Balm

First, lightly swipe the Skin Guarding Balm only once across the middle of the areas you wish to treat. Important: apply a thin layer to ensure effective hair removal.

Massage Skin Guarding Balm

Use your fingers to massage the Skin Guarding Balm into your skin, going beyond the area you wish to treat. Massage for 20 seconds in a circular motion.

Effective massage ensures there is a thin layer to keep the Hair Removal Cream from coming in direct contact with your skin, while ensuring the balm doesn't overly coat any hairs you want to remove.

STEP 2: REMOVE THE HAIR
Apply Hair Removal Cream

Squeeze the Hair Removal Cream onto your fingertip (small grape size for upper lip treatment) and immediately smooth over the area to be treated (on top of the balm), covering it completely with a thick layer. Do not rub it in. Use only with the Skin Guarding Balm provided.

Wash hands immediately and thoroughly. Wait for 6-8 minutes. Leave on longer for thicker hair, but do not exceed 10 minutes.

Remove Hair/Cream

After 6-8 minutes, gently remove cream with a tissue or cotton ball (do not rub excessively). Rinse your skin thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Works best on fine to medium thickness hair
I have used this twice... yes, it is best to put the protective cream on in a thin layer, slighlty beyond the area you are planning to defoliate. It is important to put the defoliant on in two layers to obtain a sufficiently thick cover, no gaps.I was concerned that my skin would be irritated. There wasn't any reddening where I used both products but in one small place where I exceeded the protection from the cream, I had a small reddened area that took two days to fully clear & responded well to otc steroid cream.Did it remove hair? You bet, but not coarse hair, which I didn't expect it to do but tried it there anyway.My treated skin feels smoother than it has since childhood! Will continue to use this product; it is easier and more effective than NAIR and a few others that I have tried.

Clarisonic vs. Olay Pro-X - an excellent value!
I know you are wondering if a $28 item can compare at all to something that cost nearly ten times the price. The answer is YES! I have the Clarisonic Pro - which is the top of the line for their model, so before you spend the money on both, I'll do a side by side comparison for you. Mind you, I am VERY happy with my Clairsonic. Even knowing that this I am happy I made the purchase for both of them, since they are fairly different. Here's why:Size: The Olay Pro-X is about half the size of the Clarisonic. This is actually better in many ways. Amazing
I was looking for something like this but I didn't want to spend $200 on the other brand when I wasn't sure it would work. For $30 I can take a bit of a chance. I have been using this brush since Christmas Eve and I am amazed at how much better my skin looks. At 56, zits and clogged pores that just dodn't want to go away are pretty much on the mend. Imbedded black heads have disappeared. I wouldn't use this more than once a day because it tends to dry out my skin. Hydrate after you use this. In short, I'm really glad I bought this cleaning system. A little instruction about how often to change the brush head would be nice, but I can live without it.

This is a new product to the Olay Pro-X line. Based on my experience I believe it will be quite popular. Product does not have a scent and is not gritty. Since you only use a small amount each time, product should last for a reasonable period. Skin feels/looks good after using. Best exfoliating cleanser
I am 50+ and this is by far the best exfoliating cleanser I have ever used, and I have used manyover the years. This does the job and does not ever leave my skin irritated or sensitive, and I havesensitive skin. I highly recommend this product. I use it in conjunction with the Pro X moisturizerand the Olay Regenerist Serum. Excellent!!!

It Simply Works
This formula performs - I have been using Repechage for years - and this cream locked more moisture into my skin after one application than my whole experience with pricey French-based marine cosmetics. It's not greasy at all - it absorbs very well into the skin - even the day time formula. My skin feels like a baby's butt (!) and it is healthier and cleaner. Works for me!
I have been using the Olay products since about July 2006 and am very pleased. I use the Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment at night on my whole face and neck, after washing with Dove Regenerating Calming Night Soap (liquid, navy colored bottle) and I use Olay Smooth Skin Exfoliating Scrub about once or twice a week at night. In the morning, I use Avon ANew Eye Lift Cream around my eyes and then Olay Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream on my entire face and neck. I think this combo, particularly the Olay Regenerist products have made me look YEARS younger--with the grace of God, of course. I added the Regenerist Night Recovery about 2 months ago, and it made a difference for me. Lots of people at work tell me I look younger, too. My skin feels great! It's firm and velvet soft. I put this lotion on an night and immediately feel my face more moisturized. Olay replacement items
Bought brushes for the Olay Pro-X Cleansing system. The brush heads come in a packet of two which should last me for 6 months (3 months each) which is an advantage over other cleansing systems. The brush heads however do not travel well. I took the cleansing system with me on a recent trip and brush was "squashed" in the packing, it now does not work as well which means that I need to throw out the brush head and use the other in the pack. I would suggest that if you travel you place the brush head in a hard container or back in its box. It would be really helpful if Olay could include caps for the brush heads to avoid this problem!

It's just OK
Not really a great cleansing tool - you're better off spending the money and getting a Clarisonic. However, if you can't afford to do that, the Olay Pro-X is better than a washcloth, so I suppose I would recommend it for those on a very tight budget. Just be sure to clean the brush head in hydrogen peroxide after every few uses - if you let stuff build up in the bristles, you'll end up doing more harm than good to your face. I also recommend that you dry the brush head on a towel after every use to prevent mildew.

Excellent Face Cream
I tried this one while hiding out from the world in Crisfield, Maryland for the Christmas-New Year holiday season with my relatives. I like it a lot! I am an "Olay" fan anyway, but have also used some other products. I heard on the TV that the Olay Regenerist line was "the best" or something like that, so here is my story:It has a nice creamy texture. It goes on your face smooth and it just really feels good going on. It does have a semi-heavy scent blast that hits you when you put the first smear on, but it is not overwhelming and it seems to disipate quickly. My preference would be to have it without the scent. The cream just feels really good going on your face, kind of like putting your face on a cool satin pillow. The cream soaks in really nice too. It does not feel like it's going to rub off on the pillow when you hit the bed 5 minutes later like some other creams do. It also does not feel sticky like some creams do. REALLY makes a difference in the jaw line!!
I purchased this cream after seeing the commercial about it being better than creams that cost $350. I have been using it for months on my jawline only. (I use the ProX for the rest of my face and neck.) I am 60 and the firmness of my jawline was starting to grow soft. This cream REALLY and TRULY made a difference!! I usually dot it along my jawline. Then I take the base of my palm and rub firmly in an upward motion from under the jaw bone to just over the top of it. This cream is amazing as it really did "resculpt" my jaw line. I will never be without this cream. Don't hesitate to give it a try for a couple of months. You won't be sorry!

Great stuff
I'd read that this works better than $150.00 creams so I decided to give it a try. I like it a lot. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about when they say they don't like the aroma.
