Fastest way to take off makeup
I have tried everything out there. I swear. I tried this product and fell in love with cleansing oils (once I discovered how they work, I tried several other brands). I have tried Bosia as well. I think the DHC one is probably the best because of the size of the bottle in relation to the price, the natural low-odor scent (which is basically none, so you know it's not loaded with crap chemicals), and it's smooth THIN consistency. The thinner the oil, the faster you can spread it over your dry face. Bosia (which you can buy at Ulta) is a little thicker, so it doesn't spread and glide over your eye area as fast or easily as the DHC and for the price, the bottle is a lot smaller.At the end of the day/night I start my shower water and right before I step in I pump 2 full pumps into my DRY hands, rub my hands together fast to kinda warm up the oil and then apply it to my DRY face and start rubbing small circles all around my face & eye area (I've got the oil in my eyes before...

The best facial cleanser/moisturizer for combination skin!
I started using this from a tiny sample package, and it's worked wonders on my combination mid-50's skin.It did seem a little strange, using a cleansing "oil" to clean the oily areas of my face which are prone to break-outs, but this formula is so light, rinses completely and doesn't leave any oily feel, only clean softness. Don't be alarmed that it doesn't foam up; it's not a soap. You apply it using your hands, massage into your face and neck, and then rinse. It has cleared up dry patches while at the same time reducing the shine in oily areas, and improving the overall appearance of my skin. It's like a daily spa for my face!

Can't live without it!
I absolutely LOVE this stuff! I have dry cheeks and an oily t-zone. I have been using this for about a year and it has substantially cut down the shine on my forehead. Who'd have thought that putting oil on oily skin would be a good idea? It takes off all my makeup, including mascara, so I don't use a separate makeup remover. I follow washing my face with DHC Virgin Oil as a moisturizer and I love that too. This line of products is terrific!

Olive Oil = Miracle
I originally bought this cleanser because olive oil is supposed to be really good for your skin... and by applying oil to your face, it keeps your skin from producing BAD oils.I recieved this product, have been using it every day and I LOVE it. It smells a little peanutty, but it's not a bad smell at all. It foams very gently and helps get all dirt and oil off of your face. Using this with the moisturizer, my skin is starting to clear up and soften immensely. If you want soft, smooth skin. Get this cleanser!

super gentle cleanser
I've been using this product for two weeks, and love how my skin feels. It lathers nicely and rinses easily without leaving an oily residue. I did experience a few breakouts during the first 2-3 days that I used it, but that cleared up quickly and my skins feels softer than ever. I use an ex-foliating brush twice a week with this soap and love the results.

Affordable Luxury in A Tiny Bottle!
Listen to me ~ if you believe none of the other reviews I am here to tell you this product is a miracle! I rarely write letters to companies but this one did it for me. I had to let them know they've got the right stuff!I am 42 and have had combination skin that gets much oilier during the warmer months. This product is one that I have used for two years now exclusively as my night oil and it has become a mainstay in my cabinet.Here's the trick, though. After cleansing my face (I also use Olivella bar soap) I leave my face dripping wet. One short pump and those few drops glide over my entire face, my ears AND the front and back of my neck. It doesn't take much at all but a moist face just isn't enough. Just massage it in as your face air dries and the moisture left behind is heavenly. Not the slightest bit oily at all. And don't skip your lips. No fine lines around mine and my lipstick proves it - no more creeping into fine lines around my lips...

Overall a GREAT product
First and foremost what i love about this product is that it's natural, is not used in animal testing, and has a very low toxicity rate (according to ewg.org) with no cancer causing chemicals, unlike most of the common moisturizers out there. All it takes is a few drops to cover the face and works best after a shower. The scent is moderately strong soap-type smell but will not stay with you for long, although some may not be pleased with it. It absorbs into the skin rather quickly so your face does not seem oily.I find Olivella is best used overnight because when i woke up i had a fresh young glow to my skin and was pleased with the results. Some should be advised that you may be allergic to the ingredients and do a test before hand. Wonderful
I have been using dhc products for over a year now and love them. In my 20's I was able to use just about anything on my face. Now, after having had 2 kids and in my 30's, my skin is definitely more sensitive. It's not the least bit dry but it is sensitive normal to oily skin. That being said. I love this cleansing oil. I was skeptical to try it, being that it is an oil but it truly is amazing. Cleans the face and leaves it soft and clean and not the least bit greasy. For the review that complained about having oily patchy skin. You can't expect this to cure your skin problems. You have to have a skin care routine. You can start with this product to remove make up and such. Dhc recommends an actual cleanser for step 2 after using this for step 1 and then toner and of course moisturizer. Love DHC
I have been using DHC products since 2006 and this is the product that got me started. I received a sample in a catalogue that I got in the mail and couldn't understand why any one would put olive oil on their face. I have combination skin and am prone to breakouts in my T-zone. I decided to give it a try. I thought I would need soap and water to remove all that oil but to my amazement, it all came off when I splashed some water on my face. Even more amazing to me was how smooth and fresh my skin felt afterward. The next day, I placed an order with DHC for a set of skin care products and haven't used anything since. Unclogs Pores
I have found if you rub this oil into your skin and massage it for 2-3 minutes, you can unclog your pores. I can feel sand like oil deposits rubbing right out of the skin and also any dry skin is removed. When you rinse it, comes right off and your skin feels skilky smoooth.

Comparable to the expensive ones!
I originally purchased this on sale at my local grocery store. I thought, what the heck, it's good packaging. Until that purchase, I'd been using Mary Kay, Neutragena, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Olay - all of them. I kept giving half-used bottles away to friends. I couldn't find a cleanser that didn't break me out, but I have dry skin! If I found one that cleansed well enough, it dried me out. If it was gentle, like a cream cleanser, it broke me out. This was an impulse buy in desperation, and it's been great! My skin is balanced, my pores are smaller, I haven't had a breakout since I started using this 6 months ago. When my grocery store stopped selling it I ordered the 3-pack from Amazon. It is cheaper to do that than buy it in single bottles from the store, because the price was $7.99 per bottle locally. I think this cleanser is as good as, or better (for me) than cleansers more than twice it's price!

Amazing Product
I've been slowly adding to my Burt's Bees skin care collection since I started using the Radiance Day Lotion & the Citrus Facial Scrub (and loved them both). So recently I added this product, the Facial Cleanser - and I love it just as much. First of all I have to say I have super sensitive skin. With most product lines I cleanse & moisturize and end up with a burning, stinging face. This product is like most Burt's Bees: so gentle. Great Cleanser--Very Different From Most
This is a non-traditional cleanser. It is an emollient based cleanser and has lots of citrus in it for exfolliation. I use it on my acne prone skin and find that it actually helps prevent breakouts, rather than contributes to them. I love the scent, it is very refreshing and after rubbing it in with my fingertips and then wiping off with a clean, damp face-cloth my skin feels very clean, but not tight. It takes away the dirt and excess oil without stripping the skin of every molecule of oil they way most harsh cleansers do. My skin feels very soft and smooth and hydrated when I use this regularly and I find I don't really need a moisturizer when I use it everyday. Perfect for sensitive skin
For someone who has reacted adversely even to Clinique cleansers, this Burts Bees cleanser is a godsend. It doesn't dry out my thin skin, smells fresh after a long day, and lasts forever. I just apply and wipe off with moist cotton pads.
