Excellent moisturizer, fantastic results!!
After having enjoyed the bodylotion of this Lavender line, I decided to try the moisturizer. I did not regret it. At the age of 40 my face became more dry and I started suffering from hyperpigmentation and fine lines.Not anymore, a week after using this moisturizer I noticed the difference. My face has brightend, my fine lines have disappeared and the moisturizing is making my skin more soft and youthfull. I can't live without it! It also turns out to be cheaper than all the big brandnames I have used before.PS: Since the moisturizing is a bit heavy, you just need a tiny amount.

Great Skin Product for me!
I have combination and sensitive skin. It's been hard to find a skin product for me. Recently I've been looking for a cream to use for both during the day and night. I have tried this one for a week and am absolutely in love with this. When I put it on, it feels light and refreshing with a light lavender and fresh mint scent. After a while the scent wears off and you'll barely notice it's there.It has the perfect amount of moisturizer so my face feels hydrated and I don't need to constantly reapply nor wiping oil off my face. I have not found any other product fits my skin so well and I'll stick with this one for a while!

This is better than all the expensive ones I have tried
I started using this product when I just did not want to spend another 45.00 for my usual Origins face cream. I was skeptical at first but when I found out that it not only has Vitamin C but White Tea too, I was willing to give it a shot. Both are wonderful topical antioxidants and even Origins could not offer both in one product.That was over a year ago and I have not gone back. In fact, I use the entire line of Avalon Vitamin C now. The cleansing milk, facial serum, balancing toner and this cream. My skin absolutely glows like never before, my dry-as-the-desert skin problem is resolved, I never have breakouts and I look forward to my regimen every night and morning.Oh! Fantastic Face Cleaner!
I love the smell of this facial cleanser - a refreshing orange scent that wakes you up (and is nice even at night!). But I really started using it because it met my criteria for "healthy" beauty products. This product has no parabens and no sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, and it is compliant with the EU Cosmetics Directive (much more stringent than our own FDA regulations for chemicals in beauty products. It is not, in face, a completely organic product, though at the top of the ingredient list are organic lavender, chamomile, and white tea. A small amount lathers well, and my face feels so clean after I use it. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it does contain benzyl alcohol and some other "unnatural" compounds, but this will still remain in my rotation.

Affordable Luxury in A Tiny Bottle!
Listen to me ~ if you believe none of the other reviews I am here to tell you this product is a miracle! I rarely write letters to companies but this one did it for me. I had to let them know they've got the right stuff!I am 42 and have had combination skin that gets much oilier during the warmer months. This product is one that I have used for two years now exclusively as my night oil and it has become a mainstay in my cabinet.Here's the trick, though. After cleansing my face (I also use Olivella bar soap) I leave my face dripping wet. One short pump and those few drops glide over my entire face, my ears AND the front and back of my neck. It doesn't take much at all but a moist face just isn't enough. Just massage it in as your face air dries and the moisture left behind is heavenly. Not the slightest bit oily at all. And don't skip your lips. No fine lines around mine and my lipstick proves it - no more creeping into fine lines around my lips...

Overall a GREAT product
First and foremost what i love about this product is that it's natural, is not used in animal testing, and has a very low toxicity rate (according to ewg.org) with no cancer causing chemicals, unlike most of the common moisturizers out there. All it takes is a few drops to cover the face and works best after a shower. The scent is moderately strong soap-type smell but will not stay with you for long, although some may not be pleased with it. It absorbs into the skin rather quickly so your face does not seem oily.I find Olivella is best used overnight because when i woke up i had a fresh young glow to my skin and was pleased with the results. Some should be advised that you may be allergic to the ingredients and do a test before hand. deLIGHTful!
I love this moisturizer, period. Prior to trying LIGHT I had been using the same commercial moisturizer for years. It did the job, but was filled with all sorts of artificial ingredients and smelled like it. I tried a few of the other Angel Face moisturizers first, which were truly lovely, but a little to rich for my complexion. When LIGHT came out I tried it and haven't looked back.It is exactly what it says, light and it's so smooth and absorbs quickly. It smells so wonderful that I've gotten compliments from my husband telling me how good I smell right after putting it on. I have combination skin and LIGHT keeps my cheeks and soft without making my nose and chin greasy. Great stuff!

Great for combination skin
I have been using LIGHT - Feather-Weight Organic Facial Moisturizer for around 6 months now. I have combination skin which creates white spots on my chin, large pores and from time to time flaky dryness. My skin is also very sensitive and gets irritated very quickly. I have tried many moisturizers such as OLAY and Clinique. OLAY for instance dries on my face and comes off in little white pieces, which I totally hate. Before LIGHT, I was using Neutrogena, but my skin felt dry and dull.I love LIGHT, my skin feels lively, but not oily. It absorbs well. I am very satisfied with it.The only problem is the pump. This product is not cheap according to me and I want to make sure I use all of it. But with the pump that is hard to know. And then sometimes it will squirt here and there. really good product
I had been searching for a moisturizer to use at night that would not break my face out. This one fit the bill. It's light and does not clog the pores. It has a wonderful smell and is neither oily or heavy. I am 53 and my skin has small pores so I have to be careful what I use. I was also looking for an organic product. I am well pleased.

Very Impressed
I tried a sample size of this from Target and was surprised to see visible results after the first use. I just turned 48 and have the usual sunspots as well as red acne spots. I used it at night before bed and when I awake in the AM, I notice the spots are lighter and my skin is brighter, less reddish. I also feel good that I'm using something natural on my face.

My skin is bright and healthy
I've been using this moisturizer along with the brightening moisturizer since they were first available in drug stores. I noticed my skin was brighter and clearer within the first week. I stopped using it once it disappeared from drug stores, but recently started buying it online. I don't think good skin products are easy to find, and I haven't found anything that works better for me more than this stuff. It's worth the shipping cost. (If it helps, I have normal/combination skin)

The only moisturizer I can stand...
I'm a fan of Desert Essence products. I have very sensitive skin and I find that D.E. products cause no reaction at all. I use their Thoroughly Clean face wash every day.I can't stand moisturizers. I use them when I have to, but they make me shudder when they are really greasy. This moisturizer is the perfect companion for the face wash. It goes on very light and doesn't leave that awful oily residue. You feel it absorbed into the skin, and not sitting on top of it.If you have skin that is happiest when left alone, when not hit with chemicals in cleansers and creams, give Desert Essence a try.

Nice for the price
I have tried two Desert Essence face products and have enjoyed using them. Both the 'facial moisturizer' and the 'age reversal eye cream' are non greasy, quickly absorbed and have a very light scent that is not bothersome. Recent Inconsistent Formulas
UPDATED AUGUST 2011I bought my first jar of this cream in the winter & I loved it. It was a light, non-greasy moisturizer which was great for my oily skin. It seemed heavy when applied, but after it absorbed it left my skin with a nice matte finish, like a powder & moisturizer in one. I had to slather a lot on in winter, but since the formula was so gentle, the jar was big (4oz), & the price was affordable it wasn't a problem. The ingredients are vegan (came out with a 1-LOW risk score on the cosmetic safety database) and it's cruelty-free, so I thought I had found my face cream. I wrote a 5-star review & recommended it to others. Near the end of spring I bought my second jar & it started to develop a consistency issue about a third of the way through. The texture was more thick & lumpy and I had to stir it to get it smooth.
