I like It.
I like it. I like it a lot. I have been using it for a couple weeks and I am quite happy with it. The blue light seems to have helped my acne breakouts a lot that I get because of hormonal changes . I like the fact that it has both red and blue lights and it is very affordable. I did not want to spend a lot of money on something that I wasn't sure about whether I would use consistently or not but I use it regularly and have noticed an improvement even in this short of a time. I think like everything out there sometimes something will work for some people and not for others. I am just happy this seems to be working for me. Top to learn more

Baby Red stops rosacea for me.
I'm 55, with rosacea. This Baby Quasar red was said to be the strongest of the OTC light therapy units. It suggests using $60/oz (yikes!) hyaluronic serum during treatment, but I use it on bare clean skin. Using Baby Quasar, my previous acne-like pustules have stopped appearing, and pores have shrunk. I stopped using other rosacea treatments. I also used Quasar on a scar (one 6 minute treatment), and that area showed obvious peeling.Face treatment is a time-consuming 36 minutes every other day, so I do it while exercising on a leg machine.I like that it has a cord, because battery-operated stuff eventually dies.No overnight miracles. Vigilance likely required, like exercise.

I was a skeptic, now I am a convert
I was highly skeptical of this product when I purchased it but I was so tired of having acne in my 30s despite trying everything (topical prescription creams, facials, dermatologist visits, expensive fancy creams) and spending LOTS of money in the process so I broke down and got this. I purchased this product and have used it for a week (4 times this week) on my problem areas and my acne is completely resolved. Sure, I have the spots left where blemishes used to be but the blemishes themselves are gone. I am so impressed that I joke with my friends that I am going to quit my job and go work for Quasar because I am such a believer. Not perfect, but definitely improved
I have used the product for about a month now. I have noticed a definite improvement in 'difficult' areas. My forehead used to develop a lot of little bumps, and for the most part my forehead really smoothed out. The challenging area is the chin and although I've still had a couple of break-outs, I do feel they resolved faster (I gave those areas extra attention when the problem developed). The directions specify 16 min. for the face. The way I have 'partitioned' my face it takes me about 20 min to do it.IMPORTANT NOTE: I had tried in the beginning to ensure good light coverage so I was holding the blue light steady in each area for ~30 sec. The instructions direct you to move the blue light around in small circles. Since this action of circling is not explained, I disregarded it as not being important. I wasn't expecting an instant miracle cure and it did not turn out to be the case either, but I believe that the increased blood flow caused by usage of Baby Quasar has effectively reduced my discomfort from the acne and the skin around it feels...
