Great For Sensitive Dry Skin -- And Hands Too!
I have had oily skin my entire life but now, in the sixth month of my second pregnancy, I am experiencing very dry patches of skin on my forehead and my upper cheeks on either side of my nose. I tried ignoring it, but it just got worse and worse and my skin began to crack and flake. It was especially visible when I put on my makeup. So I began to try to not wear makeup as much, but have very pale skin and need some extra help so as not to look sickly.I found this at Wal-Mart and immediately put a little dab on my forehead (no makeup that day): no burning, it penetrated my skin, felt silky and dewy -- but not greasy -- and I could see and feel the difference right away. My dry skin was much less visible, stopped itching and looked and felt almost normal. And it was only $4 for a big tub! It even works on my dry, chapped hands that have been ravaged from dish-washing and constant hand-sanitizer use -- and it doesn't make my hands feel "dirty", just soft.I tried...

Don't stray from the classic
I've been trying to figure out a good way to prevent my dry skin for a while. It seemed like everything either broke me out or looked like a greasy mess on my face. I'd passed Ponds up in the cosmetics aisles for years because that's what my mother used and thought surely something new and innovative had been made since then. It hasn't. Ponds is still the best, it doesn't look or feel greasy and makes my skin noticeably more moist. The extra hydration has also seemed to prevent some of the breakouts I had a lot of before using it.

MIRACLE .... for SOME people
I tried this product for about 2 months and it just wasn't creamy enough for my super dry, flaky skin. So I gave the jar to my younger sister who has pretty skin for her age, but not as bad as mine. I came home after about 2 months of her using it, and omg...... I have NEVER FELT SUCH BEAUTIFUL, SOFT, SILKY, CREAMY, SKIN!!!! ARGHHH I'm so jealous I just wish it was my skin!!! Before this, my sister had okay but dull skin with a couple of blemishes. Now her skin is glowing, smooth, ULTRA SIKLY and honestly... I just couldn't stop touching it bc I was amazed and very very surprised it worked on her [bc it didn't work on me].So yeah, this product works WONDERS and MIRACLES but the catch is that it didn't work for me. We all have different skin types and some just work better on others.

Amazing product
My face is generally very oily, and due to my acne medications, and i have really dry spots too, making finding a moisturizer really difficult, especially one with UV filters, as these tend to be really thick and greasy even if they are not oil-based or claim to be "non-greasy", which i never find to be the case. The Clarant B3 formula for normal to oily skin is really good for evening everything out, as far as the oiliness is concerned. The feeling is also really fresh. It indeed gives a matte appearance, although after a few hours, I still see some oil, as should be expected. As far as removing dark spots, the moisturizer does a good job of making the skin tone look very even when it is applied. I would not be the best person to ask if the results are permanent, because I still have acne so I get new dark spots all the time and can't really keep track of the old ones. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
I never right reviews but have been wanting to right a review for this product since I bought it back in January this year. I have had acne all my life. As I got older the acne got a little better and I would suffer the occasional breakout every few days, but always have had breakouts. Then last year something went out of wack and I developed full blown acne vulgaris all over my face, forehead, eyebrows, ears, you name it. I am 42 years old! I was prescribed Benzaclin which was great and worked to help bring the acne under control and not spread any further. However it dried out my skin terribly and left a blanket of blackheads that were difficult to get rid of without doing the worse thing, which is popping them. So in addition to the blackheads, I had hyperpigmentation all over my face from popping the pimples. My face was covered in acne dark spots. My Mom and Super Model Wife Uses nothing but PONDS
When I could walk 64 years ago I remember my Mom and Grand Mother opening that exclusive green top to a white jar. It was Ponds Cold Cream. That is all I heard from them. "Put nothing on your face but Ponds Cold Cream." Being a naive child, I thought the jar contained "Cold Cream" a dairy product.Grandmother and Mom bragged and I confirmed that they had the most beautiful skin alive! Most Interesting was that Mom introduced Ponds Cold Cream to my Super Model wife of the late 60's through early 80's. Well, I am not at liberty to disclose her name for legal reasons, but she used nothing but Ponds products and still does. She did commercials for other products and box covers too, but could not wait to get them off her face and back to Ponds. Throughout 7 of those years, she was the Top NY Agency's earner. I am a "He" and use Ponds daily. Bottom line. It just Works,Works! Why pay more. Only if you want to waste your money and waste your face on expensive promises that do nothing and...

Facial Flakes? No More!
I have tried just about every product there is during the winter months or after my face gets insanely dried out after being in the pool for hours, daily. My face gets very itchy dry and flaky! That's the worst kind!I have tried Aveeno's Positively Smooth Facial Lotion...but the flakes were still there. I've tried a few other products as well, but none work that great.Pond's Dry Skin cream comes in a fairly small container, and I was somewhat skeptical at first as to it being enough for more than a month! But this stuff, you hardly need more than half a fingertip for just one cheek! My face feels incredibly smooth, and the flakes are gone! Also, there isn't too much of a scent. It's a very light and clean scent. This stuff is also hypoallergenic and won't clog your pores, so it's perfect under make-up! And like many lotions tend to do, this cream will not even leave your skin shiny OR greasy!I don't think I'll EVER go back to any other...

BETTER THAN ALL OTHER MOISTURIZERS!
I just started using this cream two days ago and I am so impressed. My senior citizen (that's all I'm saying) skin looks hydrated, plumped up, and thicker. I've been wasting so much money on all types of expensive skin care over the years and none of them ever showed any difference; in fact, some of them really irritated my skin so I was getting desperate. I read about this Ponds cream on a beauty forum and decided to try it. Boy, what a wonderful surprise. Now I'm not saying it reduced wrinkles or sagging, but it sure did plump up my skin and it is glowing and my makeup goes on beautifully. Won't go back to any other skin care.

Great Product
I use different products of Pond's a lot, and this is a nice product. However, if you're looking for something thats really rich in consistency (what you usually get from Pond's,) then this is not for you. This cream is more light in consistency but really moisturizes like it says. If you're looking for something lightweight, moisturizing, and great in smell, then go for this product. Oh yeah, this cream is also scented, not like other Pond's creams. So, overall, a great product to use, but be prepared that it's not your average Pond's product.

Great bargain for good product
I just needed a gentle nighttime moisturizer without any active ingredients and without anything that will make me break out with pimples. This is it! It's light, goes on wonderfully, has a light nice fragrance and absorbs quickly. It's such a big jar it will last a long time.
