Wonderful for sensitive or "intolerant" skin & for balancing skin pH
dry spots, acne, flakes - all of that was happening at the same time, my skin specialist suggested stopping the use of all products and getting the pH balance back - she recommended the Soothing skincare lotion and the Foaming cleanser from Toleriane. Its 2 years later and have not had an issue since. I don't let any other product come to my face after discovering this. Wonderful for the sensitive skin types.

One of the best lotions.
I have had severe acne off and on for 20 years and have tried numerous types of creams, lotions, moisturizers for my skin which is very sensitive and combination type of oily and dry. This is the one product that keeps my face feeling soft and does not cause break outs. It is expensive for me but is well worth it. Highly recommended.

Nice lotion
I bought this lotion because I was having problems getting my normal lotion from Lancome. My esthetician recommended this brand to me so I thought I would try it out. I really do like this lotion. It is very smooth and is not oily at all. It spreads easily and does not have a strong smell, in fact the slight scent isn't even noticeable and I am very sensitive to smells. Now I am not going to lie I still prefer my normal lotion from Lancome but this is a very close 2nd to that. My skin stays hydrated all day which is a huge plus. I use this lotion in the morning and at night since I use some acne products I want to insure that my skin stays hydrated. I highly recommend this product.

Great Product and Value
This product was recommended by my skin care specialist because I have a very mild case of rosacea. I am very pleased with the product and this is a much better price than buying it from my local beauty supply store. It's green but blends right into your skin. I honestly stopped using it earlier this year because my skin was no longer red like it used to be! A little bit of the cream goes a long way so this lasts several months.

Produces smooth, healthy look and does not irritate
It's the only moisturizer that I like because it is not greasy and it does not irritate or contribute to my break outs. I am 50-years old and my skin is normal, but on the reddish side, with few blemishes throughout the month. My skin also tends to itch during certain times of the season and this moisturizer eliminates itching. It also is great underneath my minerals foundation. I think that my skin looks smooth, healthy, and non-irritated when I use this moisturizer. I buy it on Amazon rather than locally since I save about $10.

Helps hide uneven skin tone
I have a mild case of rosacea. Most white sunscreens make my skin look very uneven. Guys lack the options available to women for covering and blending in red blotchy areas. This is the best solution I have found for a man. If you find another product that works better let me know. The product has a very light citrus scent.

Best moisturizer I have ever used!!!
I have mild rosacea around my nose, and a number of different moisturizers seemed to just aggravate it. DML is so mild, yet thick enough and effective for my dry skin. I have the Zinc sunscreen and the DML Forte cream as well. All are extremely gentle on my skin. I gave some for my sister to try, and she's buying it now! And it's recommended by dermotolgists. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Great moisturizer!
I purchased this product several years ago based on the recommendation of my dermatologist. This is the only moisturizer I've found that doesn't "burn" no matter the dryness of my skin (really bad in San Francisco or desert climes).

DML Face Cream
This was recommended by a dermatologist over 15 years ago because of my sensitive skin. It keeps my skin soft, supple and protected from sun damage. One tube lasts me just over a year. I can't find it in retail stores anymore, but was able to "special order" it w/a significant mark-up. Glad Amazon is reasonable! GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT VALUE!

WHAT IS ROSACEA?

If you suffer with rosacea you already know that rosacea is very different from ordinary "garden variety" acne.

A mild case can result in slight flushing in the middle of your face. While in severe cases there will be excessive redness in the cheeks and nose, greasiness, enlarged pores, lumpy swellings, thickened skin, and often permanent scarring.

Sometimes a staph infection can be involved; eyelids may redden and the mucous membranes of your eyes can sting and burn with conjunctivitis.
Many times, you'll find the highly strung, intense personalities who fall victim to rosacea are often mistaken for heavy drinkers.

Rosacea seems to have genetic ties. It affects more women than men, especially emotional, rosy, fair, thin-skinned women with tempers, but symptoms are more pronounced in men.

Not usually apparent in youth, rosacea develops over a period of years, appearing at first as a temporary flush in the center of the face and becoming more apparent after the age of 30, with peak age onset between 30 to 60 It's the result of vasodilation (the expansion of small blood vessels), but different from a blush. It's more intense and lasts longer.

Whether temporary or almost permanent, the flush begins as redness on the central face across the cheeks, nose, or forehead, eventually encompassing chin, less commonly affecting the neck, chest, ears, and scalp, with broken blood vessels, and showing up at the sides of the nose (this is not to say that everyone with broken blood vessels at the sides of the nose has rosacea).

Additional symptoms, such as red domed papules (small bumps) and pustules, red gritty eyes that burn and sting and in some advanced cases, a red lobulated “W.C. Fields” nose, may develop.

Suppressing emotions, such as fear and anger will increase occurrences, as will the anticipation of important events or unpleasant scenes. This also heightens the damaging potential to the skin. After dilating repeatedly, blood vessels lose the ability to shrink and your face stays flushed.

Rosacea, like acne, is not fully understood. Often, it's accompanied by dandruff as well as oily skin and pimples, particularly on the nose.

That being said, there is information which points to digestive involvement as well as genetic ties which can be successfully addressed, along with natural skin care. This book tells you how you can control rosacea with simple steps.

I will die if they ever stop making this!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have written Aveeno praising them for creating such a fine product!I have numerous autoimmune conditions and am allergic to everything. My skin breaks out to most moisturizers (even ones that are for sensitive skin and perfume free.) BUT, not to this product. The "Ultra Calming" is the only line I have ever found that my skin can tolerate.While I am left with some acne scars on my face from years of using and trying the wrong products, I'd like to say BRAVO to Aveeno for making this one. I am having regular microdermabrasion treatments to help revive the skin that the other moisturizers ruined and left scarred. Aveeno, please notify me if this line is ever going to be discontinued so I can rent a warehouse and stock it full of this stuff to last the rest of my life. I cannot live without it! Only took me 15 years to find the right face products.

Aveeno Moisturizer
Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer really works! I have Rosecea and this product is the only thing I've ever found that actually eliminates the red on my face. After using it for 10 days or so, my face completely cleared up.

The only moisturizer that doesn't irritate
My skin is extremely sensitive. I would very much prefer to use a moisturizer with a stronger SPF, but all of them have caused me to break out severely, so I have always worn hats. I saw on a YouTube review that one woman considered this her "holy grail" of skin care, so I decided to try it. Wow, this is the ONLY moisturizer that I have every worn on my cheeks and t-zone areas without a bad reaction. I don't know why this doesn't irritate whereas other lotions have, but it really doesn't. I just wish I could have known of this years ago (if it existed then), especially since I'm in my 30's now.

Suki pure nourishing - skin loves it
This is one of the best moisturizers I have found. I admit, I was worried about putting oil on my face, but it soaks right in and feels great. I do live in the arid great basin, so I don't know if it would soak in as well in a humid conditions. I also have sensitive skin. Most moisturizers work for a couple weeks then cause breakouts or reddening. Suki pure nourishing has not caused any problems. Finally, it has a subtle, pleasant fragrance that not linger.Suki makes great products and the ones I have tried have been worth the money.

Like a glass of cold water for your thirsty face
I stumbled upon Suki about four years ago and fell in love. At first I was a little sticker shocked by the number of products I would need at $25-$75 a pop. Now I have a nice rotation of cleanser, toner, intensive brightening cream, pure facial moisture (BEST!!!!), eye cream and a balancing serum. I find I go through the brightening cream and pure facial moisture the fastest which makes sense because my skin craves them!The pure facial moisture is the first oil I have used on my face that soaked right in and provided instant relief to dry skin. I use it after being outside on a cold winters day and right after the gym and sauna and feel refreshed and non-oily on both occasions. The fine lines which started in my late 20's are now gone from my forehead, brow, eyes and mouth at age 35. I am often told I look "so young" and I think suki since 31 has definitely been a factor. In full disclosure I do not wear makeup on a daily basis, so I am not often cleaning away products...

Excellent product- and all natural!
This is a great product for keeping your skin ultra-moisturized. I started using it during the blistery cold winter months to keep my skin soft and supple. After I wash and tone my face, I put a few drops in my hands, rub them together, and smooth it on my face. I finish with my regular moisturizer. This product smells wonderful- I love to deeply inhale the aromas as I apply it to my face.I'm really impressed with this company.
