Worked on my acne scars!!!
5 months ago, my face was flaring up with adult acne. I spent countless dollars on all kinds of acne treatment products with very little luck. Fortunately, the acne went away a couple of months after discovering tea tree oil, BUT all of those zits I had a few months ago left nasty scarring all over my face in the form of brown spots. Even after my acne was gone, I still felt horrible about my skin. Luckily, I found the Quantum Derma Scar Reducing Cream last week at Whole Foods, and I just decided to give it a try after much hesitation. I've been applying it 3-4 times/day everyday for a week, and I can actually see the difference in my skin! I'm not saying my skin looks flawless now and all my acne scars are gone. But, my acne scars seem noticeably lighter and some of the fainter scarring on my chin is almost gone! I'm so glad I decided to purchase this!

Wow!
I ordered this product not really expecting much, but for the price I figured I didn't have much to lose. I get fever blisters on the corner of my mouth and have for years. I have a permanent scar/dark spot on about 1/3 of my chin from these. I have tried many expensive items promising to help the scar disappear, but after weeks of use I would get frustrated and stop using them. I even tried a chemical peel. I have been using this scar reducing cream twice a day for about a week, and my scar is already much less noticeable and you can hardly see it now other than a few little spots. I also used it on some old acne marks I had and they are almost gone as well. This product is by far the best scar treatment I have found. It helped the little pock marks that the fever blisters left, as well as the discoloration and did not dry my skin out at all. I highly recommend this product!

It really works !!
I purchased Scar Zone for a new scar because it contains Zinc whichis great for the skin. The first thing I noticed is that itdoes Not irritate my skin (like Mederma, etc.) !! This was a major plus.But then, when I used Scar Zone on an old scar... WOW !!! I discoveredthat it actually worked !! It has all but made my 10 year old scarsdisappear !! (With the new scar I couldn't be sure if it was goingaway on it's own, but making the old scars disappear is proof positivethat Scar Zone does work) !

It really works
I was skeptical about using this product because everything i tried to fade my scars didnt work.My scares were really dark and heavy,I purchased this at CVS and I started using as directed and I showed my mom my scars and she was amazed because my scars looked really light they are almost hardly noticeable now.I had a transplant when I was 13 and now I'm 20 and because of my scars I didn't feel good about myself and I was self conscious about my body so thought that I would give it a try and I'm satisfied with the result.I currently ran out but I will definitely be purchasing it again (: I can't live with out it,it's definitely a genuine product :) I hope this review helps.

ScarAway Scar Serum worked very well on Nose Scar
I had surgery to remove a growth on my nose, and they had to go much deeper than we all hoped. My doctor recommended ScarAway silicone products (I had used the ScarAway sheets before). I chose to use the Serum for daytime use and sheets at night because of the location of my scar. This product was a godsend for me. My nose and off to the right side appeared very disfigured to me after the surgery, and after using this regimen I am finally looking and feeling like myself. The results have been dramatic. There were raised up purple areas in a circle around a large sunken "hole". After using this combination daily as directed, my skin leveled out quite well and the discoloration has completely disappeared. I saw changes much faster with using them together than only one or the other. I had used the sheets before for a surgery scar, and result were also fantastic, but this was much faster. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great product to diminish scars. Awful dispenser.
I've been using ScarAway gel for almost a year because I have keloids. The serum has worked slowly but wonderfully. Even the itchy sensation disappeared after 6 months.The only thing I really don't like is the new dispenser. The cylinder is extremely big for the amount of gel, and the massaging applicator must be pressed hard against your skin for the serum to come out, after pressing the opposite end. At least in my case, it hurts a lot. And the diameter is big for my scars so I waste gel every time I use the product.I looked for the old format everywhere but it seems that the small bottle has been discontinued. I don't think it was necessary to make the new applicator so complicated.So the gel gets 5 stars but I'll give 2 stars to the new system.

You will see a difference.
Two and a half months ago, I had a mole removed from my upper lipline. Removal involved a vertical incision and six stiches. A few days after the stitches were removed, I started applying Mederma 2 to 3 times per day. I've used it for just over two months now. The scar color has really faded (it can easily be covered with make up now). The scar tissue is now barely raised and is flexible. I will continue to use it and feel pretty confident that the scar will eventually be nearly invisible. I plan to try Mederma on some older scars and am hoping for good results.NOTE: I have extremely sensitive skin and did not find this product at all irritating.

MEDERMA MAKES SCARS DISAPPEAR!!!!
My daughter burned her forehead with a curling iron. She is bi-racial, and the scar was white......therefore, the scar was extremely noticeable. Her doctor and the pharmacist said that Mederma is the best stuff to use. It's very expensive, but very worth it. My daughter was self-conscious about the scar at first. We've used Mederma several times a day for the last three months, and the scar is almost completely gone. It's not even noticeable now!

It does work--but you will need to keep buying it.
You will definitely see an improvement in your scars. I repeat that again with emphasis: you will see an improvement. I have to tell you that the improvement won't be until you use maybe five or more tubes over five months. The tube is not that large and it doesn't last all that long. It is costly, no matter where you buy it--the Internet or your local store. But, it is the only scar product I have tried that does what it says it will do---so for the third time: don't expect your scars to be 100% gone, even after five or six tubes. BUT: you will be pleased---very, very pleased, indeed. I would say a 90% improvement, and that is wonderful. But not from one tube. I do recommend it and I like it. Not messy and don't use too much as it flakes off. Follow directions. It is a fine product, but buy in bulk!!!

Works Great, but I expected more
I had surgery a few years ago and used this product for the incisions to prevent scars.I believe that the product worked, but I expected more.I expected that it would actually prevent any scaring.I give it a four star, since I can slightly see the incisions.I do believe it was much better than nothing, since I scar easy.This product did lighten the incisions, compared to minor cuts I had in past, using Neosporin.

Works Great
My husband got shoulder surgery with three incisions early January 2011. He started using Mederma a few weeks after. In just two weeks I can already see the difference. His scars have become lighter and less noticeable. I feel by using this product for the recommended time will almost diminish the scars entirely. It's a good product so far and I am happy with it. How Scar Away Does after a 2.5 months
Most reviews of this product were not helpful since reviewers did not wait long enough to get results. My raised scar was a challenge for this product since it was 2 yrs old, I am in my mid-50s, and I definitely tend to scar. But after a full 2 months I finally decided the product helped. After 2 additional weeks I am quite pleased since the scar has shrunk down and is softer and less noticeable. This is for patient and determined people. In the last month, during hours when I left the scar uncovered, I rubbed on a dab of Mederma and that seemed to have helped too. Reviewers complained about the patches not staying put - just take a bandaid, peel off the gauze, and use it to hold down the patch.

Great product that actually works
I was so surprised after a few weeks of using this product. My scars look years old, and I recently had surgery about 6 weeks ago! The scars used to be raised and bright red and purple, but not anymore. They are smooth and almost all the color has disappeared. It looks as if they have been healing for years. The only complaint that I have it the adhesive wears off after 3-4 days and each strip is supposed to last a whole week. Other than that, it's a great product.
