The only cream remover that works on my face
This facial hair remover is the only one that works on my face. I am blonde and have peach fuzz and some longer wiry hairs as I am nearing 50. I have used it for years now. These are the things you need to know: First of all if the cream dries on your face you will burn your skin. What I do is wipe a little water on my face with my fingers first and then apply the cream. That way it takes longer to dry and will not burn my skin. Never let it sit on your skin over 8 minutes. Apply it thickly or it will dry on the skin too fast and will burn. If it starts drying on your skin apply a little water to your finger and soften the cream back up by mixing that water with the drying cream. If you are just careful to apply it heavily, keep it on less than 8 minutes, and possibly dampen your face a little before starting you will have great results. I have tried Nair, Sally Hansen and a few others and none of them were strong enough for me. They were all a waste of money. This will definitely...

No more plucking
This product has been very effective for me. I haven't experienced any adverse reaction in spite of leaving it on for well over the recommended 8 minutes maximum (I've left it on for upwards of 15, but I have a few hairs that are embarrassingly stubborn.) The best thing about this depilatory is, since it keeps me from having to tweeze, I no longer have to worry about developing the ingrown hairs that I'm extremely prone to, which in turn would lead to hyperpigmentation scars as a result of trying to tweeze them out. Stop paying for lip wax at the salon!!!
I have used this product for several years, and it's wonderful! Since I've bought this, I haven't paid for facial waxing for the upper lip and the lower half of my face - it has saved me a lot of money. I have extra-sensitive skin (Rosacea), and it doesn't turn my face red. It works just as it's advertised. It doesn't take very much of the product to remove hair from the whole lower half of your face (not cheeks); however, please don't exceed the 8 minute time limit. It will start to burn (the face still doesn't turn red though).

Didn't even know it was on!
I've been using another brand but amazon.com didn't carry it so I purchased these. It was so gentle to my very sensitive and fair skin, I wasn't evenaware that I had it on the area above my lip. The other product caused a stinging sensation but this one is the best - and this product removedevery fair hair that I had - and with the other brand I would have to use the scissors. I only tell you that I am fair because I'm not a hairy personand what little hair I do have is very fine. AAAA+++++

Works OK
Tried this and it works OK but I've used more effective depilatory products on my legs. I have light leg hair and this needs to be left on for the longer recommended time to get at most of the hair. On the plus side it isn't irritating to the skin.

Works terrifically!
This product worked within half the time that the instructions suggest waiting to simply wipe off and rinse the area that it is applied in. Happy to have found Surgi Cream again
After my local drug store stopped carrying Surgi Cream I had to try Sally Hansen Hair Removal and was not happy. After using Sally Hansen for 8 months and not getting great results, I googled Surgi Cream to find out where in my area I could find it. Surgi Cream was available on Amazon. Can't be more please to be using it again. The removal tool is terrific. For first time users I would recommend you do a couple of applications to allow all hair to be removed. After the intial time it will only take 4-6 minutes every time. So happy to have found Surgi Cream again.

Not Impressed.
I have never cared for depilatories to begin with, but I was willing to give this one the benefit of the doubt. I was impressed with Surgi-Cream's hair remover strips, so I figured I'd go ahead and go for the cream.I have used Nair in the past and it has never left the burning sensation that came after using this creme. I (regrettably) used it on my lip plate, and since then there has been an intense burning sensation. The creme they included to use afterwards did not help.I'm not sure if there are any depilatory creams that do not leave skin feeling uncomfortable, but as I said- I have never had a stinging sensation like this.I recommend going for another product. This is not the one, especially if you have sensitive skin.

I have very sensitive, fair skin. I had just used retinol and glycolic lotion on my face for a few days in a row--normally, I wouldn't use a hair removal cream after this--but had unexpected plans.To my surprise, no burning or irritation on my upper lip (5 minutes). I have used SurgiCream with the Surgi-Soothe Cream for years. Cannot say enough positive comments about this product. It removes the hair from my upper lip very well-the hair needs to be dry, and I do find a few strays that need tweezed. I find 4 minutes is not long enough for me-I leave it on 7 minutes-I am fair and freckled.
