Nice, thick lotion that sinks right in
I usually don't buy lotions (especially in a large size like this!) without first smelling them since I can be sensitive to smells, but I went ahead and bought this lotion sight unseen (scent unsmelled?!) based the reviews. I've used Alba Botanical products in the past and have always loved them, and this one is great, too!The lotion is nice and thick, but it sinks right in, so that you don't feel greasy and your skin doesn't feel heavy at all after using it. Also, the scent is very, very light and subtle; it doesn't compete with my perfume, and is definitely gender-neutral. In fact, the scent fades away after a few minutes of applying it.Another big plus is that I can use this on my legs right after shaving, and it doesn't burn, as I was afraid it would because of the alpha-hydroxy acids in it.I've been looking for an SPF lotion that was lighter-feeling, and this one is definitely great. OMG
Pregnancy really takes a toll on a woman's skin. Mine was left completely lifeless and ashy. I tried every lotion that I could find and still it looked dead and gross. I tried mixing my own vitamins in lotions, I changed my diet...everything. Finally after reading reviews on amazon, I decided to try Alba. OMG...immediately fell in love with the feel of it on my skin, it just seemed to give me back that natural glow that I had been missing for so long. I have been using it for about a month and a half and i am going to have to say that I am a lifer. I will never use anything else. I'm a fan of Alba products and think their lotion is great. It goes on smooth and is easily absorbed into the skin with no sticky, oily residue. A note on shipping: the packaging consisted of a piece of tape placed on the cap. In the process of shipping the cap came loose and lotion got on my other items. Well, let's FACE it..short of any procedure that is invasive(botox,cosmetic surgery, etc), there really isnt any magic cream that is going to reverse the aging process, but there are a number of products that will aid in improving the look, feel and texture of your face. I've been trying out several of the products out there, and I found "Olay Total Effects Night Firming Cream For Face and Neck" to be one of the best ones around.I really like this one alot because of the many benefits it has all in one jar. After using it pretty generously for a little over a month(I've used about 1/2 the jar so far), I found it worked wonders on improving the look and feel of my skin. this is preety good but.........
I like how this product diminshied all my wrinkles, lines, and my uneven skin tone but it did NOTHING to firm my skin and it was too greasy. I put this moisturizer before I sleep and when I woke up in the morning , there's oil and shine ALL OVER my face. I was competeley grossed out and was quite dissapointed. What is this miracle in a bottle l'oreal is selling and why haven't I heard of it before? In one week, Revitalift face and neck has erased two deep lines on my forehead, begun to firm my extremely saggy eyelids, and lightened some fine lines under my eyes. Let me apologize ahead of time for my review because I'm a guy and don't know all the terms for facial discriptions when it comes to "beauty tips." Anyways, I got this product mostly out of curiosity, but I am glad I did and would recommend it to anyone. I have a bad habit since childhood of pushing together my eyebrows to sheild my eyes from the sun, and have created creases or "wrinkles" (though I don't think they are really "wrinkles" in terms of aging) on my forehead between the two eyebrows. I applied the cream to the area including on my cheeks and neck. After only 4 days, I noticed the wrinkle between my eyebrows dramatically decrased. I also noticed the appearance of a firmer jaw-line. I noticed the affects after only 4 days, which is probably fast and may sound too good to be true, but I am in my mid twenties, so that may contribute to how fast it works.
